Centrally situated in the vale of Ryedale, our small, family run, farm based campsite is 5 minutes outside the "food capitol" of Yorkshire the market town of Malton. Riverside dog walks and fishing onsite with two village pubs a mile walk away along the River Derwent. Platinum grade washrooms with fully equipped kitchen and disabled access shower and toilet. Flat spacious pitches with views to the Yorkshire Wolds have a mix of hard-standing and grass pitches with or without hook-ups. Small children's play area and Glamping Cabin onsite.

Route directions

Exit the Malton bypass onto the A169 to Pickering then take immediate turning on right to Espersykes. The farm and campsite are 400 yards on right. The Coastliner bus service stops at Eden Camp stop at the top of Wise House lane (10 minutes walk to site). Malton has a Railway station and we operate a collection service form there.

Local attractions

Eden Camp modern history museum is within walking distance of the site. The market town of Malton with its shops, restaurants and supermarkets is five minutes drive away. Within six miles are Castle Howard, Scampston Hall and Flamingoland. We are 16 miles from Monks Cross park and ride for historic York and 23 miles to the Yorkshire coast resorts of Scarborough, Filey and Whitby. The site is 8 miles from the North Yorkshire Moors and the historic steam railway at Pickering and only 6 miles from Dalby forest. Fishing is available on our half-mile frontage of the River Derwent during the coarse fishing season.
