Electric grass tent pitch

Liked: The Maze, the farm, soft play activies, being provided with a small fire pit, the attention and care of the Staff, Specially Mike and Louis. There are also roaming peacocks around! very funny and surreal to watch them mingle!

Disliked: There is a wood-chipper/shop container which has an extractor fan pointing to the camp site which was very noisy. sadly there is also also a very busy road so if you are light sleepers you may struggle.

Electric grass tent pitch

Liked: We visited in October half term and were the only campers mad enough to stay at that time of the year. We couldn't have asked for more from our trip. Staff were all so friendly, the activities were all fantastic, animals seemed well looked after and just a fantastic place to be for our 4 children (ranging from 3 to 8). The kids absolutely loved the activities of which there are plenty (farm, maze, woodland walk, miniature golf etc.) and even more so when the public left at 4pm and they had the soft play to themselves. We stayed for 3 nights. Spent 2 full days in the country park at leisure, and that kept us busy. Perhaps if we'd stayed for another night we might have popped out elsewhere, but a great base to come back to. A huge thank you to all the staff that helped make our stay what it was an look forward to visiting again in the future.

Disliked: It didn't bother us on this trip as we were the only ones camping. But if it were full, the pitches aren't the biggest and are quite close together (although we do have a larger than average 8 man tent, 7.5m x 4.5m). That would be my only hesitation about revisiting. I'd happily pay a little more for a slightly larger pitch.

Electric grass tent pitch

Liked: Nice grass, loads for kids to do, use of facilities out of hours. Showers, although mostly temporary, we're decent anough, and clean.

Disliked: Bit of a pain having to park to unload then move the car. Understandable as the field is pretty small. Probably also not the best if you don't have kids.

Electric grass tent pitch

Liked: We stayed with our 3-year-old twins and enjoyed the camping here a lot. It was our first camping experience and this site made us campers. There are lots of activities for the kids during the day as this place offers such activities for the public btw 10:00-16:00 and most of the areas are just for the campers after 16:00 (amazing). toilets/showers are clean and the staff are very friendly and hospitable. The location is also very good as there are big stores, and restaurants nearby aside of the site's own cafe and shop highly recommended!

Electric grass tent pitch

Liked: Amazing campsite with lots of wonderful activities for the kids to do. My kids (aged 5, 7, and 9) made lots of new friends and were able to freely explore the site and play. The soft play facilities kept them entertained late into the evening. The staff were all so kind, friendly and welcoming. The cafe onsite offers great food during the day and the kids love the slide in there. The tents are close together, so kids can easily play with others and it's easy to keep an eye on them.

Electric grass tent pitch

Liked: Where to start?! We love camping here! Our third year this summer and it was just as wonderful as the previous two years! The new field is great and really nice to have indoor washing up facilities and more showers. The kids love the maze, golf, park, soft play, woodland walk and mini tractors they can use even when all the day visitors have gone home and having access to events during the day and being able to see the farm animals for free is fantastic! The staff are wonderful and took time to check everything was ok and we were enjoying our stay. The food and drink available in the café is also fantastic - we especially enjoyed the cooked breakfast! Also amazing is that the pitches are electric and you can use the WiFi so for those who don't like being completely off the grid it is the perfect camping experience! Definitely recommend, especially for families with young children, and we will be back again next summer for our fourth visit!

Electric grass tent pitch

Liked: Everything about our stay was incredible. The friendliest staff, the pitch size and the facilities were perfect. We were greeted on arrival with an electrical lead for the hook up and a bbq. If you have young children this is the campsite to go to! The best thing about this campsite was when the country centre closed the campers where able to use all the activities. We where in the soft play, playing mini golf and getting lost in the maze untill 10pm. This was by far, without a doubt one of the best camping trips I have been on with the children and 100% worth the money. We will be back next year.
