  • Small and secluded park with its own flight centre
  • Walking trails around the airfield, woodland, ponds and riverside
  • Within a five-minute drive of Denbigh
Take a flight from the grounds at Lleweni Parc, a small and secluded tourer park among woodland and with its own pilot training and pleasure flight centre right on site. Walks around the site include trails around the airfield, woodland, ponds and riverside, and there's direct access too to the Clwydian Way, to hike into Denbigh via Kilford. It's also a five-minute amble to the River Clywd where the site has fishing rights for two rods. A carp pond and a trout lake are in the grounds (extra charges apply for fishing). The park is just under three miles from Denbigh, within easy reach of several Vale of Clwyd food pubs and close to the long-distance paths of Offa's Dyke and the Clwydian Way. A bus to Denbigh stops at the entrance of Lleweni Parc every hour during the day. Amenities include chemical disposal and charging facilities. Shops and restaurants are in Denbigh.

Route directions

From the A55 at St Asaph, head south on the A525 signposted Denbigh. At the roundabout just north of Denbigh, turn left onto the A543 (A541) towards Bodfari and Mold. The site is one mile from the roundabout on the right. The entrance is marked by two large stone lions. As you turn between the lions, take the right branch keeping the airfield to your left. After half a mile you will see a signpost with a 10mph speed limit and a right bend sign. The site entrance is on your left directly opposite the sign.
