AA 2011 Inspection Report:- " The site looked very well maintained and overall very attractive. The pitches also were in excellent condition and well defined. Both facility blocks were very clean and tidy and in a good state of repair. Gravel areas have been added to approximately half the hardstandings, for awnings, which improve the visual effect of the site. Fresh water taps have been installed to most of the pitches. Adrian has worked hard on the site over the last 3 years and has made many improvements, all beneficial to the campers. In view of the above I can confirm the AA 2P rating and an increase to quality score to 80%" Aileen Woods ...Inspector A friendly adults-only site with very reasonable rates. Adjacent to a bus stop and located three miles north of Hereford on the A49, with easy access direct from the main road. Just follow the brown coloured highways camping signs at Moreton-on-Lugg. All campervans and caravans are allocated a hardstanding and electric hook-up as standard. All pitches are accessed by gravel roads so wet or shine Cuckoo's Corner is the place to be. Conveniently located to visit many interesting places and situated adjacent to a bus stop offering regular services to Hereford and the Tudor market town of Leominster and Ludlow. Fishing is available nearby on the River Lugg and the Wye. Roadways have been laid in the camping fields. There are now 15 hard standings: eight are 45 feet long and will accomodate car and caravan or long campervans. All have electric hook-ups and water nearby. A washing machine, dryer, fridge and microwave are available as well as free wireless broadband. Situated adjacent to a public footpath for walking. Just half a mile to the village is a post office/stores and fish and chip shop which has been voted best in Hereford. Phone for a Chinese takeaway or Pizza delivered to your pitch.
