Liked: Just spent 4 brilliant nights here, we didn't want to come home. The young lady who welcomed us as we arrived was very polite & friendly. The gentleman who I spoke to prior to leaving, was again very polite & friendly. Both deserved a mention here - thank you. Our hard standing pitch, fully serviced with electric, water, waste, TV point was fantastic & would of been even more enjoyable in the warmer months. The facilities block, including the elsan block was extremely clean & a pleasure to use. The elsan point with it's sink for hand washing was good to use. Walked/cycled around the local village. On our arriva day, we had lunch in Rita's Tea Room, very nice & very friendly. We would definitely return, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend! Our first trip of the year was thoroughly enjoyed!

Liked: Excellent site and location, beautiful picture postcard village of Eardisland with 2 great pubs and really friendly locals. Arrow Bank Country Park is only a short walk away from the village. Had to extend our stay for a further day due to the River Arrow breaking its banks and flooding the roads in and out of the village. Facilities are very good, plenty of hot water and heated rooms. All site staff very helpful and professional and a big thanks for looking after us all and allowing us to stay the extra night for no extra charge. We will definitely be back again.
Disliked: Nothing.

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to leave us such positive feedback here on Pitch Up, we really appreciate it. We are very pleased to hear how much you enjoyed your stay with us here at Arrow Bank, even despite the unexpected extra night due to the River Arrow bursting its banks! The safety of our guests is our first priority in a situation such as this! We hope to see you again in the near future so that you can come back and enjoy the park and Eardisland in less rainy conditions - well, hopefully!

Liked: Well maintained hedges at the entrance giving impressive first impression. The facilities were so clean and user friendly. Even the Elsan point was the poshest I have ever seen, with it's own dedicated room with hand basin, genius! Great dog walking field large enough for our labrador to have a good run, with plenty of trees for him to cook his leg! Loved how close it was to the pretty village. Would definitely recommend for those who just need a quiet break in a stunning location.
Disliked: The fact we had to go home!

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to leave us such kind comments - we really appreciate it. We are extremely pleased that our first impression was a good one - exactly what we like to hear! The dog walking field is a great space that we are glad you and your Labrador enjoyed - even your four legged friends need a space to stretch their legs. Thank you also for saying you would recommend us - we love to meet new guests! We also hope to see you again in the near future.

Liked: Very nice park in a decent location.
Disliked: Earlsland village was quaint but a bit quiet especially on Monday when the one pub that serves food is closed.

From the manager: Thank you for your kind comments about the park - we really appreciate it. We also thank you for your comments regarding Eardisland. As it is getting into the winter months now, the village is going to be quieter. We hope that despite this that we will see you again soon.
