  • Exceptionally-maintained site in Lincolnshire
  • Spotless facilities including eco-friendly shower and toilet
  • Generously-sized pitches, coffee house and shop
Owners Walter and Natalie welcome you to Wold's View Country Park, a four-acre site in the gorgeous Lincolnshire countryside. All of the facilities at Wold's View Country Park are very well-maintained: an eco-friendly shower and loo block with good-sized cubicles, underfloor heating, plenty of free hot water, basins, hand dryers and an air source heat pump. The site's four water points all have heating elements, so guests can pitch up all year round without frozen tap woes. Barnets and beards can be kept brand spankingly smart with the addition of hairdryers and shaver points, and clothes with a coin-operated commercial washer dryer in the on-site launderette. Dishwashing facilities are in the laundry area and there’s an additional guests’ room with underfloor heating, a small rentable fridge freezer and boot racks. For eats, the comfy coffee house serves breakfast, hot drinks, ice cream and homemade cakes, and the small shop at the reception sells camping essentials, Calor gas, fresh eggs, cold drinks and local Roe Farm ice cream. Caistor is 15 minutes’ walk away with a Spar, Co-op, several local takeaways and meals served in the Heritage Centre and White Hart pub. Wold's View Country Park welcomes up to two well-behaved dogs per pitch if kept on leads, and a small exercise area is available on site for pooches to stretch their legs.

Camping pod (double)

Liked: I loved the cuteness of the glamping pod the extra details of adding coffee tea and milk. The host pre-heated the cabin for us so when we checked in it was warm and the toilet block facilities were always warm and clean.

Disliked: Just that the toilet wasn’t in the glamping pod.

Camping pod (double)

Liked: Everything! The pod was lovely, it had everything we needed. The toilet and shower block were lovely and clean as well as been nicely heated (nothing worse than a cold wee in the morning) Location was great, close proximity to plenty of places to eat and some lovely places to walk as well. Adults only so it was a lovely quiet site.

Camping pod (double, pet friendly)

Liked: Lovely place ,quiet with the very handy cafe for the morning full English that set the day up nicely, showers were lovely and hot and clean ,nice to see washer and dryer available if needed

Disliked: The only dislike was a pitch up problem not a site problem, the site is adults only and dog friendly, we were put in one of three pods that were fenced off to keep your pooch safe I'm sure as we were traveling without a dog one of the other 4 pods would have been more suitable as my wife's eyes did not stop running all the time we were in pod plus her sleep was affected as I say the option was not on pitchup

Local attractions

Walter and Natalie didn’t build the location of Wold’s View Touring Park, but that's probably had something to do with the customer accolades too – right by the Lincolnshire Wolds, on the edge of Caistor and within 25 minutes’ drive of Cleethorpes, Louth and Lincoln. There’s much to be had in the immediate area if you’re sticking close to site, like fishing available right next door or lessons at the Caistor Equestrian Centre within a mile. Wandering the Lincolnshire Wolds from Wold’s View is a piece of cake too (bring some cake from the campsite coffee kitchen): either traipse forth from camp without much of a plan/route or follow the Viking Way crossing through Caistor on its 147-mile journey from the Humber Bridge in north Lincolnshire to Oakham in Rutland. The four-mile circular walk from Caistor to Nettleton is an easy amble, but if you’re saying pffft to that, try the Caistor Challenge covering 25 miles of Wolds countryside past eight villages and churches. Pffft to walking, you’re feeling driven? Get the bus from Caistor to Lincoln, Louth, Cleethorpes, Grimsby and Brigg, or take to the car for a ten-minute drive to Market Rasen (racecourse!), Brigg (massive garden centre!) or the Three Sisters Vineyard (wine tours!) at Claxby. Lovely Louth, the Wolds’s capital, is worth at least an afternoon to nosy around its specialist grocers, independent shops and award-winning The Cheese Shop – and even more lovely Lincoln 25 minutes away worth a full day to see its cathedral, castle and Medieval Bishop's Palace. Also within reach are the 3000 sea critters of The Deep aquarium at Hull, Humber Bridge and its visitor centre at Hessle, the Lincolnshire Wolds Railway at Ludborough and the Lincolnshire Aviation Centre at East Kirkby. Visit Grimsby, 15 minutes away, for the six-sailed Waltham Windmill and the award-winning Grimsby Fishing Heritage Centre at Alexandra Dock, where the curious can tour the museum of the Ross Tiger trawler.
