  • Peaceful, adults-only farm site 25 minutes' drive from Skegness
  • Coastal walks, beaches, Lincolnshire Wolds within 15 minutes' drive
  • Off-lead dogs enclosures on site; small farm shop with local produce
In a choice between coastal wanders or explores through gorgeous greenery, which wins? At Captain Bluebell’s Farm, an adults-only site in the grounds of a Victorian farm less than a minute’s drive from the Lincolnshire village of Anderby, you can always opt for both. This is where countryside and coast meet, five minutes from the seaside walks and sandy beaches of Anderby Creek and 10 from the edge of the stunning Lincolnshire Wolds for easy bike rides and strolls. If you feel like sticking closer to home base, that’s hardly a chore: anyone who still wants to stretch their legs can wander around the peaceful site's eight acres of farmland before heading over to meet the friendly sheep. Feel free to bring your canine chum with you for those meanders along the coast and through the Wolds, then let them drag you to the four on-site dog enclosures where they can be walked off-lead. If you fancy running free for a bit too, the owners have made sure there's plenty of space for roams around the grounds too. Once you’ve worked up an appetite, head to the farm shop for which has basic camping items and some local produce (not enough for a whole meal, so plan to visit one of the convenience stores a short drive away). Alternatively, take a jaunt back into Anderby or the nearby Huttoft for pub food and a few bevvies.

Liked: Really liked our 4 night stay. Nice big pitch only had to level front to back. Well maintained site. Shower block was very clean and a nice hot shower. If you like peace and quiet like us then this a perfect site. Short drive to either skegness centre or mablethorpe. Definitely on our list for a return visit 👍🏻

Electric grass and gravel touring pitch

Liked: This is a cracking little site it is just what we always hope to find on our travels. A warm welcome on arrival from Jon who showed us to our pitch which was well maintained and a large size no squeezing you in here plenty of space for your caravan & awning and a separate space for car parking. The site is well appointed with spotlessly clean showers & toilets a small trust shop for necessities (ice for my g&t😊)everything neat and tidy and the bonus of three dog walking fields and a doggy shower with warm water. If you want a peaceful countryside break you won’t go wrong here. We will be back.

Disliked: Nothing!

Fully-serviced grass and gravel touring pitch

Liked: Great location for visiting local attractions. Ease of access , large pitches , fully serviced , peaceful and lovely surroundings. The dog walking areas are great , you can let your dog run in three separate areas , there's also poo bags hanging on the fences . The only site to date where there has been disposable gloves to use at the elsan point . Also a dog shower , the owner Jon has thought of everything. The showers and toilets are spotlessly clean and warm .We enjoyed our stay and will look forward to returning soon

Local attractions

Start off your hols with some leisurely wanders into Anderby and Huttoft villages, both within 15 minutes’ walk. Stroll to the first for On Your Marques, full to overflowing with vintage model cars, motor racing memorabilia and a 45-metre Scalextric track to test your mettle on, then ramble to Huttoft for the Radcliffe Donkey Sanctuary. For seaside days, head to the resorts at Skegness, Ingoldmells, Chapel St Leonards, Sutton on Sea, Trusthorpe and Mablethorpe, all within 25 minutes' drive. Skeggy has a seal sanctuary and open-air museum for those who like quieter days, and Ingoldmells is home to a huge market open seven days a week. Once you’ve got your thrills at the raceway, chase some more at Fantasy Island theme park in Ingoldmells where you can get your adrenaline pumping on rides and coasters. Otherwise, take a more sedate approach with a trip on the Lincolnshire Coast Light Railway, a turn around the gorge Gunby Hall and Gardens or an evening trip to the fab Kinema in the Woods for film watching among spectacular décor.
