Bumblebee 1 bedroom camping pod

Liked: Beautiful quiet location far away from people. There was another pod that we could we see from ours but there was no one there. Took two dogs who loved the freedom of running around the fenced yard. The pod itself had everything we needed for us and the dogs. Everything was thougth about. We will be going back in the future.

Disliked: You can hear a busy road in the background. There was very little shade throughout most of the day, had to spend a fair amount of time sat in doors to keep the dogs cool. On the other hand the ground was quite muddy, which meant a lot of regular cleaning. I would recommend bringing a couple extra towels if it has been raining. But none of those can be controlled by the owners.

From the manager: Thank you for your kind words despite the horrendous weather we’ve had to date which as you mention, meant our meadows are soggy than they would be normally l. A huge thank you also for leaving the pod so clean and tidy 💗 Hoping you found the doggy tipee on the decking which provides ideal shade for the pooches on those sunny days and the fan in the pods for those warm balmy evenings 💗 our sister pod, across the meadow and beyond the hazel hurdles and hedging also has over hanging branches for additional poo h shade if you fancy a return visit 🥰 Although we are set off the beaten track in a private 4 acre meadow, we are accessible a short distance from the A47 up into the village. If the wind blows in a certain direction, you can sometimes hear road noise but not all the time. Thank for mentioning because. It’s early days for us here so all feedback helps us to make the experience as magical as possible for future guests.
