  • Well-equipped safari tents at a spacious site in the Malvern Hills

Malvern views? There are certainly plenty of those at Malvern View Country and Leisure Park, in the grounds of a historic Elizabethan manor house on the border of Worcestershire and Herefordshire and with splendid views of the surrounding Malvern Hills. This is an excellent part of the world for walks, bike rides and other outdoor activities, and you don’t even have to go far to get started with all of that. This park has more than 100 acres of farmland to its name, with walking trails and a deer park on site for rural rambling and a fabulous three fishing lakes filled with carp, rudd and roach. Once you’ve had your wander, stop for a while at the site’s own bar/eatery for eats and drinks while the kids have a bit of time out at the playground. Doing your own self-catering is made nice and easy too, as each of the safari tents has its own kitchenette (with a cooker, microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster). Bromyard (10 minutes’ drive) and Great Malvern are the places to go for supplies. As well as those kitchenettes, the safari tents also have comfy beds (made up for your arrival), a dining space and outdoor furniture on the deck, so there’s plenty of space to relax both inside and out. Shared toilet and shower facilities are a short walk away.
