  • Friendly no-frills Norfolk site at Belton, with spacious grass pitches
  • A 10-minute drive to The Broads, Gorleston beach and the River Yare
  • Dedicated dog walking area; pub and shop within 10 minutes’ walk
Passing through or staying awhile to explore the Broads, beaches and villages of Norfolk? No matter what your plan for a trip to this area, a friendly welcome awaits all comers at Rose Farm Touring Park, on the edge of the village of Belton. This site is simple in style but it's immaculately kept, with thoughtful touches like keeping the pristine toilet and shower facilities heated in winter. Dogs are very welcome to join you on your travels, and there’s a dedicated dog walk in the 'nearly wild' section at the bottom of the park, surrounded by fields and the sounds of nature. There are lots of useful amenities close by too. You can stroll to a welcoming traditional pub (serving a particularly fine afternoon tea) in five minutes, but if you’d rather stick to a self-catering regime, a supermarket for stocking up on essentials is five minutes further on foot. The motto of the site? Visit for a night and you’re very likely to stay longer…

Electric grass pitch

Liked: Very happy with this campsite 🏕️ We received and friendly welcome and were taken to available pitches which were very spacious! We felt secure on site with coded Barrier for in and out! We thought the showers were excellent! Extremely warm! With hot water, it was super to have the under floor heating! never seen this before on any other campsite so we will definitely be returning!

Electric grass pitch

Liked: Nice view from the touring pitches. There are many seasonal pitches but not many were occupied at this time of year. Great shower/toilet block. Underfloor heating and timers for showers nice and long. Free Wi-Fi was excellent and was able to stream video on laptop. Nice welcome and reasonable price. Pub and Tesco Express within 15 min walk.

Electric grass pitch

Liked: Close to amenities, showers and toilets clean and tidy.

Disliked: Our pitch was muddy which had to be tackled carefully. Pleasant welcome but could have been more informative as it took some time to find the water tap. The site seemed to have mainly seasonal pitches.

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: Thank You for your review Lesley, I hope you enjoyed your stay in the area. You are correct, and I should have pointed out the tap in front of you. For this I apologise.

Electric grass pitch

Liked: This was a well laid out site, with a super clean and homely ablutions block: always a must in a mid sized van! We stayed on an electric grass pitch: the pitches are generous and very well kept: we were one of the last two pitches to be taken on the days we stayed. The people that we saw on site running the place were polite and professional and the people staying on site were all very friendly. I will definitely be staying again here!

Disliked: nothing to dislike about this site, it was nice and chill and quiet

Electric grass pitch

Liked: A lovely site, so clean and tidy. Staff were very welcoming and always on hand should they be needed. Pretty location and not too far into Yarmouth. I judge most places on their facilities, particularly the wash block and it didn’t disappoint. I like a place that is kept so nice you feel personally responsible to make sure everything is clean after you leave it. I actually mopped the showers out so it was nice for the next person.

Disliked: Nothing, it was perfect.

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: Thank You so much, not just for your kind review, but for your lovely photo's! We look forward to welcoming you back to Rose Farm.

Local attractions

Looking forward to getting out in some bracing Norfolk air? Gorleston-on-Sea beach (10 minutes’ drive) calls with its sweeping sands and watersports, or you can stop by Great Yarmouth (15 minutes), a traditional seaside resort with mini-trains along the promenade, shows at Yarmouth Hippodrome, a pleasure beach with thrill rides and aquariums at Sea Life. Kids with you? Keep everybody smiling with rollercoaster rides and sea lion shows at Pleasurewood Hills Family Theme Park (15 minutes), or alternatively wear them all out at BeWILDerwood Norfolk (40 minutes), where you can zipwire through the trees, go on waymarked walks around the marshland and take a boat trip. Other family-centric stops include Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens (25 minutes) for exotic animal spotting, and Redwings Horse Sanctuary (five minutes), where you can cuddle up to more than 100 friendly rescue horses and ponies (it's a particularly great place for kids with special needs). And of course you can all go messing about on boats in The Broads National Park, perhaps hiring a paddleboard for a leisurely potter up the narrow waterways or learning to sail on the River Yare (all 10 minutes away).
