General
- Single static on a working farm: have the site to yourself
- Own enclosed parking and garden area
- Views across the site garden and the Vale of York beyond
Cosy stays, fab views, warm welcomes and quiet private hols are all guaranteed at Helmsley's Beadlam Rigg: there's only one static caravan on the entire site, so no need to share the place with anyone else. And it's in the North York Moors National Park too – you'll most likely think this site is a win and then yet another win.
The static has its own enclosed parking and garden area – really, you won't have to share any of your hol with anyone else – and is set adjacent to the farmyard with those fab views stretching south across the site garden and the Ryedale beyond. It's a modern, spacious and well-insulated caravan with central heating and double glazing that sleeps up to five.
The shops and eating establishments of Helmsley are a short drive away, but if you fancy being organised, sort supermarket deliveries straight to your static: a good-sized fridge and freezer are inside for stashing all your eats.

Turn left off the A170 heading east signposted Pockley, approximately a mile out of Helmsley. After 1.25 miles, at the end of the village, turn right into a road signposted , and continue up to the T-junction. Turn left onto a 'no through road' and continue for a mile until you run out of road. High Farm is the third property. Parking for the static caravan is located next to it on the right-hand side, just after the owners' garden.
Local attractions
In the North York Moors National Park, half an hour from Dalby Forest, an hour from York and the Yorkshire coast at Scarborough and Whitby... this caravan is in a crackingly convenient location. North Yorkshire market towns like Pickering and Kirkbymoorside are also within easy driving distance.
As it's the North York Moors, opportunities are all around to go walking, cycling or horse riding in the surrounds: Helmsley, Kirkmoorbyside and Pickering as well as Malton are in the Ryedale area of North Yorkshire, known for its dales, hills and moor, ancient heritage going back to the seventh century (looking at you, Rievaulx Abbey), walks along the Cleveland Way and the Wolds Way, and many traditional markets.
Scarborough, Whitby, Filey, Bridlington and the rest of the Yorkshire coast can be reached about an hour from Beadlam Rigg. As well as the usual seaside shenanigans, take time to go birdwatching, fossil hunting, historic house hunting and on nights out in the area's pubs and restaurants.
