Electric grass pitch
Liked: Location of site and campsite itself
Disliked: There is no access to kitty’s creak from the campsite and there’s is no onsite fishing due to construction work on the river side, this needs to be updated on information as it’s false advertising, a fishing permit for the river is £60 per day per person

Liked: There was a warm welcome from the on-site warden and he explained where everything was as well as recommendations for local pubs and walks (we had our dog with us). Very peaceful and clean campsite.
Disliked: Toilet and shower-block were functional but could do with being updated; noticed a HUGE spider under the bench in the shower.

Liked: The site guy was so friendly and helpful . Large pitch as was meant for a static caravan. Toilets and shower kept clean and tidy . They do need updated , but did the job well .
Disliked: Had to leave , if back in that area again won't stay or as the Terminator "I'll be back "

Liked: Lovely quiet site with hard standing all service pitch.within walking distance of a lovely village pub and good train /bus service to local attractions. Gordon the warden is very friendly and has lots of local knowledge which he is happy to share.
Disliked: The toilets are very basic and inadequate for a site of this size ( only 1 women’s shower and 2 women’s toilets) luckily the site was fairly empty when we stayed - would not want to be here if fully booked.

Liked: Good location for getting into Newcastle. Nice nearby town. Gordon the warden was lovely and really helpful.
Disliked: Toilets could do with an update and imagine when it's busy there's a queue as 1 shower and 2 toilets for females.

Liked: Gordon the warden was brilliant, there to help with everything. We had hard standing pitch for VW Transporter which was great. Nice quiet site.
Disliked: Toilet block old. It was cleaned but hard to make anything that old look clean.

Liked: Great setting and location, perfect for what we had planned Within easy reach of Hadrian’s Wall and Newcastle. Only an hour from Bambrough Castle We had a spacious fully serviced pitch which functioned perfectly Gordon the warden is an absolute star, friendly, welcoming, helpful and a mine of local knowledge Had a great meal at the White Swan in Ovingham
Disliked: The toilet block!!!!! It’s well past its sell by date (by about 50 years) Everything works and Gordon does his best to keep it clean, but it really is grotty
