Located in a wonderful position on the edge of Keswick, Castlerigg Farm provides spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and Lakes. A family run site suitable for families, couples or singles. The site rule of Silence From 10.30pm is in keeping with the tranquil location and provides visitors with a quiet nights sleep. Modern facilities include showers, toilets, laundry room, shop and an on site cafe/restaurant. PLEASE CHECK YOUR ROUT PLAN AS THERE ARE 2 CASTLERIGG CAMPING & CARAVAN SITES. OUR LOCATION IS NOT ALWAYS CORRECT ON THE MAPS, WE ARE LOCATED 1.5 MILES FROM THE TOWN OF KESWICK. OUR POST CODE IS CA12 4TE AND WE ARE ON THE LEFT OF THE LANE.

If arriving from the A66 from Penrith... PLEASE NOTE: Our location may not be correct on the map. We are located 1.5 miles from Keswick, our post code is CA12 4TE. Follow the signs for Keswick. Do not enter the town, but take the A591 sign posted Windermere. After approximately 1 mile, nearly at the top of the hill, turn right up the lane, sign posted Castlerigg Farm Campsite. There are 2 sites on the lane, we are located on the LEFT. If arriving on A591 from Windermere. As you drop down the hill towards Keswick, turn left up the lane , sign posted Castlerigg Farm Campsite. There are 2 sites on the lane, we are located on the LEFT.

The ancient monument Castlerigg Stone Circle is a 25 min walk from the site. The lovely town of Keswick is also a 25 min walk and provides shops, pubs, swimming pool, theatre, cinema, pencil museum and many other attractions. Castlerigg Farm is located at the foot of Walla Crag which provides immediate walking access to the mountains and a 40 min walk takes you to the shores of Derwent Water where visitors can hire rowing boats or enjoy a cruse around the lake.
