Liked: The lovely surrounding area. devils bridge walk along the river Short walk into little town, cute fish and chip shop.. the pub snooty fox looked good (sadly didn’t get chance to go in as hellish journey and arrived loads later than expected)
Disliked: Our pitch was good (no 9) but the area had so many extra cars it kind of spoilt it. We have a VW so no car needed I understand you need a car with a caravan. Could you not ask people with extra cars to park elsewhere? Just a suggestion…

Liked: Compact touring site, all usual facilities situated around central office/shop. Clean and tidy. Lovely self contained shower with toilet. We were able to move pitch, by phoning contact number, as we were placed under a large dripping tree in the rain! Friendly staff.
Disliked: Pitch 8! Under the only large tree madly dripping on the van! Sounded like an intermittent drum! There were better empty unbooked pitches, so maybe keep pitch 8 as the last to be booked? Were able to be moved fortunately.

Barbon Hill camping pod
Liked: Very tranquil with a nice village close by. The staff were friendly. The facilities were very good and it was a very tidy clean campsite. Nice field at the top of the site where you can let your dog off the lead for a good run about.
Disliked: The pod had cobwebs and a musty smell indicating that it may not have been cleaned in quite some time. I missed the fact that it had no running water, I wasn't sure if I missed that in the listing but not that big of a deal. The WiFi didn't connect so we used our mobiles instead.

Liked: The play park for the children was great, even in the dark in December! The toilets and showers were great, really warm. Helpful on arrival. Very friendly.
Disliked: No soap in the soap dispenser for the duration of my stay. Everything else was great.

Liked: Great, Friendly Welcome! Clean hot showers, nice hardstanding with electric. Easy for the motorway.
Disliked: If I had to be picky! Do not like push button showers!!
