St Ives Farm has many visiting families, couples and groups who return year on year. It is a relaxed space where you can explore the land and get away from the demands of modern life. St Ives Farm has three fields and two fishing lakes which are stocked with perch, tench and roach. Please bring your own fishing equipment and a licence. There are Portakabin toilets between the top fields with a larger and more spacious toilet and shower block in the lower field. Attached to the shower block are sinks and work surfaces for dish washing. Campfires may be built in existing firepits and chopped wood can be purchased daily at 6pm.

Local attractions

St Ives Farm is in the Ashdown Forest which is the largest free public access space in the south east. One of our great walks is over to Hartfield and Pooh Corner, the home of Winnie-the-Pooh. Other attractions are Groombridge, Hever Castle, Chartwell, Bolbroke House, Spa Valley Railway, Sheffield House and a nearby Ashdown Forest Llama Park. Ashdown Forest provides much in the way of activity outings: Walking: St Ives Farm sits right on the High Weald Landscape Trail from which many glorious walks branch out in all directions leading to local pubs where you can find great food. Cycling: A bridle path from the site offers access to the Forest Way - a designated cycle route along the disused Tunbridge Wells to East Grinstead railway line. Climbing: The High Rocks and Harrisons Rocks are famous soft rock features which are nearby, while the Evolution Climbing Wall is a fantastic indoor climbing adventure perfect for beginners and kids. Golf: Nestling in the Ashdown Forest are some fine golf courses such as Royal Ashdown and Holtye Golf course.
