  • Location is everything and we have it all!
Peel House Farm is a small peaceful family run site (more like a back garden) situated between Polegate and Hailsham in open farmland on the edge of the Pevensey levels with views of the South Downs and access to the Cuckoo Trail. Eastbourne claims to be one of the sunniest places in the Country, making it an ideal place for walking on the South Downs Way, the 1066 trail or one of the many Country Parks. We offer 20 touring spaces (caravan, motorhome or tents), 5 rental van's for hire (5 private) and an overflow field for tents during peak times. Recreation field, children's play area in a generously sized meadow, tuck shop we stock LPG Calor Gas, heated toilet block, family sized rooms with baby change, undercover dish-washing (with hot water). In addition to caravan storage we offer 'store and stay'. The advantages of 'store & stay' (1) no need for a tow bar + save on fuel bills. (2) no charges for us to tow your caravan in/out (3) cheaper caravan insurance if you always stay with us.

Route directions

We are not accessed via Sayerland Lane as the address suggests. We are accessed via B2104 (Ersham Road) between Hailsham and Stonecross and have been for 20 years. Sayerland Lane is a single lane and difficult to pass oncoming traffic (avoid). Directions to Peel House Farm Caravan Park: Emergency Mobile 07905005328 Peel House Farm is an old farm that is now accessed via an alternative route due to the single lane of the original gate in Sayerland Lane, we are now accessed via the B2104. The B2104 is parallel to the A22 and allows easy access. We recommend that you plan an ‘auto route’ to Stone Cross or Hailsham and then follow our directions. Please note that we are not situated in Sayerland Lane as our postal address may suggest. From Hailsham pick up the B2104 (opposite the M&S BP Garage) The B2104 is also known locally as Ersham Road/ Hailsham Road. You will pass a number of residential houses/bungalows. Ersham Farm is on the left before taking a bend with a pond to the right of you. Continue along the road passing: Summerdale B&B, on left A pedestrian crossing (access to Cuckoo Trail), ‘World of Water’, on the right ‘Small Garden Centre’, on the left followed by ‘The Old Loom Mill’ on the right. Indicate now (next entrance on right). Peel House Farm Caravan Park is next on right (before the left hand bends). WELCOME From Stone Cross pick up the B2104 (known locally as Hailsham Road), at The Lion Pub, crossroad You will shortly go ‘under the bridge’ Continue on the same road passing: Coopers Inn (Carvery), on LEFT Sharnfolds Farm - Pick Your Own, Farm Shop and Coffee Shop, on LEFT Hilliers Garden Centre, on right Sharp Bends and past Sayerland Lane. Indicate Left (next entrance on left). Peel House Farm Caravan Park next left after small white cottage/large barn. WELCOME If you come to ‘The Old Loom Mill’ on the left you have gone too far.
