Liked: The site was amazing. Toilet and shower block was amazing. Washing and drying room was a bonus. Onsite shop was good and the staff always friendly. The pool looked great although never used it. Nice clean site. Defo come again

Liked: A lovely campsite with a family friendly feeling and friendly staff. The facilities here were the best I've ever seen on a campsite. Really enjoyed our stay.

Disliked: There wasn't much I disliked about our stay at all the only thing I can think of is that the showers and taps run off of motion sensors or push buttons but they stop IMMEDIATELY which meant you always have to use one hand just to keep water flowing, which was a pain. God help one handed people.

Disliked: Not much for younger children/toodlers, more so for older children/teenagers

In regards to the child friendliness, the site has a large playground and family / baby bathrooms, a nature walk with a pond to explore as well as a toddler section in the pool. The site is only a short drive away from many beaches and activities for younger children. However, we value your feedback and will take that into consideration! We hope to see you again soon

Liked: Very clean and friendly staff

Disliked: It was beginning of September so they wasn’t many tents about on the last 4 days of our stay so the gardener was cutting hedges early mornings still going on after dinner so that was very annoying getting woken up listening to it non stop near to our tent so after a few mornings of that we packed up and left. The hand soap in small block was always empty.

Local attractions

Treloy is in a first-class location whether your interests are coast- or countryside-based, with fishing, golfing, cycling and main attractions like the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan all within easy reach. One or more of the 11 beaches in and around Newquay will be most holidaymakers’ first stop. Family beaches such as Mawgan Porth and Watergate Bay are a few minutes’ drive from Treloy: both Mawgan and Watergate are lifeguarded in the summer and Watergate has safe swimming areas for kids. On land, Newquay and its surroundings have plenty going on too: try Trenance Gardens, part of Trenance Leisure Park and with more than enough to tire the kids out with a boating lake, crazy golf, play areas, nature trails, a maze, the flumes and pools of Waterworld and one of the miniature trains, the Little Western Railway, of the Lappa Valley Steam Railway. Award-winning DairyLand Farm World and the Blue Reef Aquarium should hold the attention of even the most fidgety youngster, but if not, Crealy Great Adventure Park is less than half an hour away at Wadebridge, and Flambards Theme Park 25 miles away in Helston. Kids thoroughly tired out? Onto more grownup activities such as an evening at Newquay’s theatre or four-screen cinema, or angle for some fishing: coarse fishing at Porth Reservoir, a mile from Treloy, or a half/full day sea fishing trip from Newquay harbour. The South West Coast Path runs behind Watergate Bay – hike from here to Mawgan Porth or the 10 miles to Porthcothan – and for two-wheelers, the Padstow to Wadebridge leg of the Camel Trail is an easy traffic-free 5 mile cycle. Booking terms and conditions

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Changes to your holiday

Modifications are subject to a £10.00 fee.

Dogs

Dogs are not allowed if you are staying in the accommodation units.
Dogs are prohibited from main facilities and amenities.
Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.
The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. XL Bully, Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.

General

Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.
Bookings must not be for more than 21 consecutive nights.
In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
Public areas are non-smoking.
Quiet hours must be respected between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m..
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and boots must be closed quietly.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
The site is not liable for any refund in the event of force majeure.

Occupancy

Group bookings of 2 or more units (e.g. tent, touring caravan, motorhome or accommodation hire) travelling together are not permitted via Pitchup.com.
Group bookings of 3 or more adults are not permitted (couples and immediate family members excepted).
No hen/stag parties permitted via Pitchup.com.
Single-sex bookings of 3 or more people (couples and immediate family members excepted) are not permitted via Pitchup.com.
The site caters for families (immediate members) and couples only - bookings from all other forms of groups are not accepted.

Pitches

You must follow the management directives when pitching your tent/unit and related equipment.

Pool

Only park guests are authorised to use the pool.
Please note there is no lifeguard on duty.
The outdoor swimming pool is open between 23/05 and 09/09 (subject to weather conditions).

Reception

If reception is closed on arrival: please contact the number provided on your booking confirmation.
Reception is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. between 23/05 and 19/06.
Reception is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. between 20/07 and 01/09.
Reception is unmanned after 6 p.m.. Please inform the site while on your way there should you expect to arrive after this time, so that the team can provide information about your unit/pitch.

Safety

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.
Firearms are not permitted.
Open fires are prohibited.
Swimming in the lake is not allowed.

Taxes

This area is not subject to city tax.

Vehicles

Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.
The charging of electric vehicles is not permitted on site.

Visitors

Visitors’ cars are not permitted on site.
Visitors must leave the premises by 8 p.m..
Visitors must register at reception and pay their fee.
