  • Family-run holiday park five miles from Truro
  • Less than ten minutes to the nearest beaches
  • Central location from which to explore the whole of Cornwall
Ever tried to get a lumbersome tourer or massive motorhome down a teeny Cornish lane? Yep, it can be a tad tricky. So how fortuitous of Trevarth Holiday Park to set their site less than half a mile from the A30 for exceptionally easy access: lumbersome tourers and massive motorhome owners, unite. There's a fair bit more to like about this family-run Cornish countryside park too: its attractively-maintained gardens, the well-spaced pitches, the welcoming family atmosphere and the excellently-kept amenities – and as well as being close to the A30, it's centrally placed to get to pretty much anywhere in Cornwall as well as being only minutes from the Cornish coast and five miles from Truro. Trevarth has showers, loos and dishwashing facilities kept to high standards, and plenty to keep kids busy too at the playground and the indoor games room with pool table, football table and games machines. The local pub is the Chiverton Arms a short stroll away, which serves food, wine and Cornish ales.

Local attractions

Laze summer days away on the nearby Cornish beaches or get active with a spot of watersports like surfing, swimming, snorkelling, scuba diving or canoeing: all are within easy reach. Golf, tennis, fishing, cycling and horse riding are also close by. Cornwall also has a high amount of high-up cliff and coastal paths to hike along: from Trevarth Holiday Park, scramble around the old mines of St Agnes or take the South West Coast Path from east from Portreath to Porthtowan or west from Portreath to Godrevy (caution: both have the sorts of climbs you'll very much feel in your legs the next day). If you're on hol with the kids, plenty of adventure parks and farms are around to keep them entertained: try The Flambards Experience, the Cornish Gold Centre and World in Miniature.
