Situated near Devizes in the Wiltshire countryside, Mill Farm takes luxury camping to a new level. For over a hundred years, three generations of the Dyke family have been farming here and the present owners, Joe and Izzy – pioneers of glamping – know what it takes to make a stay under canvas exceptional. Glamping at Mill Farm is designed to appeal to those who want to unwind and get close to nature, without compromising on style or comfort. This peaceful haven is also home to the farm’s chickens, and guests may collect their own eggs for breakfast. The canvas lodges are situated in top and bottom water meadow, within the grounds of Mill farm. These luxurious new canvas lodges provide discerning campers with a generous master bedroom, second twin or double bedroom, children’s bedroom with bunk beds and a rear deck with separate toilet and bathroom with flushing toilets and hot showers. The stylishly decorated living and dining area is centred on a cooking stove with oven, hob and woodburning fire. Spectacular views take in the nearby river and woods where according to local history highwaymen plied their trade. Today it is an opportunity for fishing, paddling or a picturesque walk to a local pub. Guest facilities include an honesty shop for essential camping needs and daily necessities, as well as wifi. The free farm tours are a real hit with families where all can learn what makes an organic farm tick and have a chance of hands-on fun. We also offer donkey rides, mini tractor hire, laser sport, smoker barrel or outdoor cooking pot hire and horse-riding (extra charges apply - please book on arrival).

Route directions

From London on the M4 Exit the motorway at Junction 14 Hungerford. Follow the signs to Marlborough. At Marlborough, follow the signs to Devizes. At Devizes follow the A361 to Trowbridge. When leaving Devizes, you will enter a dual carriageway going down a hill; just past the scrapyard on the right, take the next left into Poulshot - slightly beyond the blue bus shelter on your left. In Poulshot, go past the Raven pub and on past the village green - with the football posts. At the next sharp right-hand bend, you'll find Mill Farm Glamping on your left, with a ramped entrance and a slight incline. From Salisbury From Salisbury follow the signs for the A360 to Devizes. Follow the A360 all the way until the turn off for Worton - which is on the left of a T-junction after the railway bridge with traffic lights - coming out of West Lavington. Follow this road through Worton and keep driving until you reach a sign on the right, marked Poulshot, Devizes and Rowde. Take this turning and follow the road which goes into Poulshot. Keep going along until you see a farm with a ramped entrance and a slight incline - this is Mill Farm Glamping. On arrival at Mill Farm Glamping, please drive into the main farm entrance and knock on the farmhouse back door. You will find Joe or Izzy here. If not, we will be very close by so please wait in the farmyard for us.
