Mossyard has been the home of the McConchie Family for five generations. We are proud to offer our visitors the hospitality of a family run business with the attractions of our working farm. Whether you are interested in outdoor pursuits, local attractions or simply want to enjoy the peace of our countryside and the beauty of our coastline, Mossyard is the place for your perfect holiday. Mossyard is a working farm situated in the magnificent coastal location of Fleet Bay with a beautiful backdrop of the Galloway Hills. A VisitScotland 4 Star caravan and camping park, with self catering cottages and lodges, Mossyard and the McConchie Family provide you with everything you need for a truly relaxing break.

Route directions

From the East From Dumfries, take the A75 towards Stranraer, and bypass Gatehouse of Fleet. 4 miles past Gatehouse of Fleet you will pass a small fishing loch on your left hand side, followed by a cottage, also on your left hand side. The next left turn is for Mossyard. Continue down the farm road and follow signs to reception. From the West From Stranraer, follow the A75 towards Dumfries, continue past Newton Stewart for 14 miles and you will pass Auchenlarie Holiday Park on your right hand side. Carry on for another 0.5 miles and Mossyard is the next turning on your right. Continue down the farm road and follow signs to reception.

Gatehouse of Fleet is four miles east of Mossyard and has long been a popular tourist destination. You will find a choice of places to eat, convenience stores, post office, a nine-hole golf course and a public tennis court.
