Set in a stunning hilly location by the lovely seaside village of Kippford, this award-winning four star park is one of the most beautiful holiday parks in Dumfries & Galloway, South West Scotland. It is open all year so you can enjoy four seasons. The park has a private woodland which is home to an 8,000-year-old bluebell area and a growing red squirrel population, as well as viewpoints from where you can see over the sea to the Lake District over 40 miles away to the south, and onto the Galloway Hills over 20 miles to the north. We have a great selection of lodges and caravans for sale to suit most budgets and several privately owned lodges and caravans to rent. Our holiday homes are fully equipped with everything you might need including outdoor space for relaxing with family and friends. As well as offering exceptionally good accommodation all year round, the Park also has seasonal pitches for touring caravans. Pitches are hardstanding and are available to rent for a minimum of one month. Little adventurers will love the outdoor play areas on Park, including an assault course for older children. You'll be spoilt for choice by the range of activities for all ages within easy reach of the park. For more information about our holiday homes for sale or seasonal pitches, please contact us.

Local attractions

Coastal Kippford is within easy reach of the Dalbeattie Forest Mountain Bike Trail (one of the 7 Stanes Routes) just 300 metres from the Park entrance. In all there are over 17km of cycling trails linking Dalbeattie to Colvend, Sandyhills and Kippford; these three villages being just a short ride outside the Forest itself. There are also Gentle Family Routes are suitable for the whole family, with clearly marked trails. From Kippford an extremely pretty coastal walk passes the beach and follows the shore to the neighbouring seaside village of Rockcliffe. Longer coastal trails can be followed one way, using the local bus to get back. For those more interested in star gazing, we are also a short drive away from the UK's first Dark Sky Park where you can enjoy some of the darkest skies around and see millions of stars in the night sky. If you are coming with children there are plenty of nearby attractions to take them to, Cream O' Galloway Ice Cream visitor Centre has ice cream tasting and activities (indoor and outdoor) for children. The Cocoabean Company has a visitor centre and various activities for children and Mabie Farm Park.
