The caravan site is a great holiday location for everyone in the family. You have a choice of pitches: those grouped in open areas and surrounded by statuesque mature trees or others located in charming shady glades. The local area offers good amenities with cafes, a grocery shop and several local pubs, including the Laurel Bank Hotel and Balbirnie House Hotel and Bistro. The site is only a 10-15 minute walk from Markinch train station, where you can easily catch a train to Edinburgh, Dundee and Perth. The Kingdom of Fife is virtually on the doorstep of Balbirnie Park Caravan Club Site and the tranquil rural surroundings let you unwind from the bustle of everyday life. The nearby East and West Lomond hills are ideal for keen hikers and climbers. The sporting and leisure facilities in nearby Glenrothes and Kirkcaldy make for a fun day out. Within a radius of 5 miles from the caravan site there are swimming pools, ten pin bowling, an ice rink, go-karting and horse riding. Add to this the fact that there are no less than 30 golf courses in Fife, including the famous Royal and Ancient at St Andrews, you can't fail to keep the whole family happy. Route directions

do not use sat nav on final approach to the site. From South leave M90 at junction 2A (junction 3 if approaching from North) onto A92 (signposted Kirkcaldy) for about 15 miles. At Tullis Russell roundabout (see large chimneys on left) turn right onto B9130 (signposted Markinch, Balbirnie Park international caravan site sign). In 0.75 mile turn left into Balbirnie Park. The Site entrance is on the right in 30 yards.
