Liked: Showers and toilet facilities were very clean and well maintained. Site was ten minutes from the coast with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Great for dog owners with good short walks trails. Less than 15mins walk to decent local pub.

Disliked: Not much

Liked: Beautiful scenery, quiet site. Facilities were very clean. We will definitely use this site again.

Disliked: The only thing is, the WiFi was patchy in the evenings, dipped in and out. I'm guessing because more people were using it.

Liked: What a lovely place, very friendly people and a very good site the touring pitches are very spacious. Definitely one to put in the diary to come again

Disliked: The toilets were very clean and and modern the only gripe is that the showers could do with adjusterble shower heads as they very high and need more hooks to hang your clothes on

Electric hardstanding touring pitch

Liked: Liked The privacy of our Pitch with hedges around 3 sides. Quiet site, clean and warm toilet block. Plenty of hot water for showers. Polite and friendly staff. Easy check in . Take away food can be delivered to site if necessary. Toilet blocks not restricted on closing times for cleaning , a bonus if u fancy a lazy lie in

Disliked: No shop on site. Local shop and pub a 20 min walk down narrow country lanes . Not so good in dark nights.

Local attractions

The towns of Abergele, Conwy, Colwyn Bay, Rhyl and St Asaph are all close to Plas Farm; also close by are various coastal and countryside attractions and activities including watersports, steam railways, mountain walks, tennis, sea fishing from Conwy Quay and salmon and trout catching in the rivers Conwy and Elwy. Take your bucket and spade to Wales' largest coastal town, the Victorian seaside town of Llandudno (25 minutes’ drive), to see Wales' longest pier, as well as the view from the cable car that goes up the Great Orme. Other seaside antics can be had at Rhyl (25 minutes), which has six miles of sand and a seaside SeaQuarium; Prestatyn (half an hour, or follow the sand from Rhyl); and Colwyn Bay (15 minutes) with three miles of Blue Flag beaches. The Welsh Mountain Zoo, home to exotic birds and animals and local farm animals, is just outside Colwyn Bay. Inland, holidaymakers of all sorts can enjoy a day out at Snowdonia's award-winning GreenWood Forest Park (40 minutes), with a wealth of things to do, including the world's only human-powered rollercoaster, a 70m toboggan run, four indoor play barns for rainy days and regular art and craft activities for creative youngsters. More Snowdonia time can be spent mountain biking around Llandegla Forest (if you’re feeling energetic) or taking a trip on the spectacular Snowdon Mountain Railway to the top of the mountain (if you’re not…).
