  • Farmland site with stunning sea and mountain views
  • Five minutes' drive from Conwy and 10 minutes' walk to the beach
  • Pubs, shops, restaurants and takeaways within a short stroll
The sea to the front of you, mountains just behind... what stunning views are these around Trwyn Yr Wylfa Farm. Trwyn yr Wylfa means 'watching point', a properly appropriate name for this spectacularly scenic place, on the coast a couple of miles from Conwy, in the Snowdonia National Park and 20 minutes from mighty Snowdon. Find your own watching point to gaze over sea or mountain, or use the site as a pretty place to base yourself for north Wales seaside days, cycling and direct access from the farm to the Wales Coastal Path. It's lushly remote and properly peaceful around here, but you're well placed too for sourcing supplies as well as hiking and sightseeing: Trwyn yr Wylfa is between the handsome village of Dwygyfylchi and the quarry village of Penmaenmawr, for pubs, shops, restaurants and takeaways all within a quarter of a mile. There's easy access to the A55 too, or you can wander a few hundred metres to the bus stop for services every 10 minutes to Conwy and Bangor. The beach is within 10 minutes' walk. Trwyn yr Wylfa is a spacious farm site, with plenty of room to roam, play or settle down for a spectacular sunset as the evening draws in. It has a good range of amenities including hot showers and separate ladies' and gents' toilets in its washroom block, and a washing-up area, fridges, freezers and charging lockers for electrical appliances in its facilities block. Barbecues are allowed on site.

Local attractions

Ramble or pedal straight down to the beach from here on the path accessible to the site, or set off on the local section of the Wales Coast Path to hike along to Conwy or the seven and a half miles along to Llandudno (the path covers 870 miles, so you're sure to find enough to keep you busy). Inland, the farm's setting just inside Snowdonia National Park is 20 minutes from Wales's biggest mountain Snowdon, and about 35 minutes from the park's visitor centre. If you're not up for climbing Snowdon (particularly if you've hiked a long length of coastal path the day before), take the Snowdon Mountain Railway up to the summit for spectacular views. Surf Snowdonia, Caernarfon, Llandudno and Great Orme are all within 30 minutes' drive. Or you could whizz along for a session at Zip World at Penrhyn Quarry, home to the biggest zipwire in the world – and all underground too.
