Liked: Facilities were super clean Campsite was very quiet Pitches were a really good size Staff were really helpful and friendly It was our first camping trip and we couldn’t have picked a better site. Dave, who looks after the site, went out of his way to make sure everything was ok. Would highly recommend this site.

Electric grass pitch
Liked: Good price, staff friendliness, good central location for visiting the area, facilities were clean and adequate, and relative close to pitches. Pitch space allowed for easy parking and setup without being too close to a neighbour, pitches were level and welled maintained with easy access to water points ans electricity. Site cleanliness was very good, a lot of users appeared to be long term stays which meant they respected the site. Quiet site, suitable for those wanting a peaceful holiday. Mobile phone reception was okay. Views were fantastic, central location for doing several different coastal walks. Closeness to towns for shopping but far enough away to give choice without driving too far.
Disliked: Lack of advertised wifi, they claimed it was working but would never show as available, even when next to the antennas. I believe they gave priority of the wifi signal to static and long stay caravan owners.

Liked: Friendliest site have stayed Small and basic but probably the best site we have stayed on. Lovely clean shower and toilet block (20pm for 4mins and instantly hot!), inside washing up/laundrette and very spacious pitches (air 6 and air shelter)! Dave the site warden could not be more helpful from the moment we pitched to when we left. After running out of gas and not being able to refill our bottle locally he offered us his own BBQ and portable electric hob/grill plate and recommended places for us. Would definitely stay here again. Nearest beach is Newgale 5min drive away with great pub opposite and fab beaches within an hour!
Disliked: Can't really fault anything unless you can count Storm Antoni and the worst winds i have ever camped in! Maybe a small play area for kids but to be honest my 8yr old was happy with his football
