  • Refurbished park with a friendly welcome
  • Family-friendly bar with beer garden
  • Pool and play area
Plenty of space, refurbished facilities, a warm welcome, a bar and a pool – one can't say much more than that for a holiday anywhere. In Pembrokeshire, you'll find this whole heap and more at Llandissilio Holiday Park 15 minutes' drive from the west Wales coast. Owners Chris and Em have fully refurbished the park and all is well kept and clean including the grounds, gardens and play area. The bar is family friendly with a relaxed atmosphere and a beer garden, and is adjacent to the heated indoor pool which is free of charge for guests to use. Free wifi is available around the bar area. There's no shop on site, but the pub right by the site has a restaurant and bar meals; the local post office and bakery are within walking distance, and a supermarket is a short drive away.

Local attractions

Escaping to the Pembrokeshire and west Wales countryside is a doddle from this park, like to the scenic walks and pony trekking of the nearby Preseli Mountains and their surrounds in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Museums, historic houses and ancient castles are also within easy reach. If you're in Wales to investigate the fishing, firstly how clever of you and secondly you won't have to go far. Many a river and stream suitable to the art are within a three-mile radius; the fishing (and sailing and country park) of Llys-y-Fran reservoir is nearby, and a bit further afield is the salmon fishing from coracles at the Cenarth Falls. Fishing permits can be sorted when you arrive on site; ask the Llandissilio Holiday Park crew for advice. And if you're here to investigate the Welsh coastline, that's jolly clever of you too: the famed sands and surf of Tenby and Saundersfoot are within a 15-minute drive.
