  • Indoor pool, bowling alley, restaurant, food shop and playground
Whether it’s whizzing down the flume, splashing about in the indoor pool, or bowling around the mini ten-pin alley, there’s plenty to keep younger members of the family occupied at Brynowen Holiday Park. The site sits in prime west Wales countryside, less than a mile from the beach, so the view from here is pretty engaging too… Brynowen is part of the Parkdean Resorts group, so guests benefit from the usual wide range of activities and entertainment, including kids’ clubs for all ages, indoor and outdoor sports facilities, and evening fun such as cabaret, live bands, competitions and theme nights. The park also has a restaurant and a takeaway, a food shop, a TV room and a games room.

Local attractions

Right on the doorstep in Borth is the Animalarium, a small zoo which nonetheless has some big draws: leopards, caimans and lemurs among others. It’s a short drive from Brynowen Holiday Park to Aberystwyth, where the main attractions include the beach, mile-long prom, pier and castle ruins. Here, daytrippers can also hop aboard the steamy Vale of Rheidol Railway, which has been transporting tourists through ruggedly beautiful terrain to Devil’s Bridge since 1902. From Aberystwyth, it’s a worthwhile 15-minute detour to Llwernog to explore its eighteenth-century silver mine, where you can even get stuck in and do some panning of your own. Another popular destination is King Arthur's Labyrinth in Corris, a warren of atmospheric underground tunnels, caverns and waterfalls.
