Local attractions

There are many walks to enjoy nearby. Or drive into the picturesque village of Cenarth and take a walk beside the famous waterfalls, and watch out for the leaping salmon. Explore the west Wales coastline, quiet sandy beaches or take a walk along the miles of coastal paths. To sample the culture of the area, visit the market town of Cardigan, the home of the first National Eisteddfod of Wales in 1176 and once a busy port. For the adventurous, take an powerboat trip from the mouth of the River Teifi and watch the local dolphins and seals in their natural habitat. Or explore some of the many imposing castles built across Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire, or visit Fishguard not far from the very last French Invasion in 1797. With a cheese factory, chocolate factory, artists' studios and a honey farm nearby there's plenty to do, with the freedom to plan and enjoy your perfect holiday whatever the weather.
