  • Family-run site under an hour’s drive from the Welsh coast
  • Mid-Wales countryside setting 20 minutes' drive from Machynlleth
  • Games room and playground on site
On your marks, get set, and CrinGOed to this friendly, family-orientated park sitting pretty in the mid-Wales countryside, under an hour’s drive away from the Welsh coast. A warm welcome from the Cringoed Caravan Park owners awaits: they've been working hard for over 15 years to perfect this family-run gem, leading to a well laid-out park set against spectacular woods. Comfort is the name of the game here: hot showers and electric hook-up is available, as are dishwashing facilities, a laundry, chemical disposal point and access to wifi. Kids have a play area and games room to keep them busy in weathers both fair and foul. Dogs are allowed all year round too, so be sure to bring the pooch along to take part in proceedings. For supplies, the village of Llanbrynmair (with its convenience store and homely pub) is a mile away, and the cafés, pubs and shops of Machynlleth are just over 20 minutes away by car.

Liked: The site is beautiful once you arrive you feel completely relaxed, the sire is very peaceful. The site has everything you need in facilities. The most amazing part is the stunning views all around. The owners are lovely very friendly and helpful. The site residents are also very friendly. We only stayed 2 days this time but we are booking a lot longer for next year. You could not ask for anything more from a campsite. You also have the options of days out and very fun and exciting things to do I can highly recommend this site if you want to have a very relaxing , peaceful and happy holiday

Disliked: Nothing at all

Electric optional gravel touring pitch

Liked: Very well kept site. Owner was pleasant. Good size pitches. Fairly quiet with minimal road noise.

Disliked: No disabled toilets. Showers and toilet block were grubby. Lots of spiders and cobwebs. Hair left clogging up the shower trays. Seems like the showers and toilets are cleaned once per day in the morning. Smelly mop and bucket left in the bathroom. It needs a clean more frequently. Also would benifit from the removal of spiders, conwebs and spider egg sacks from around the skylight and windows.. Not enough attention to cleaning in my opinion. I found a sweeping brush and cleaned some of it but it needs a good thorough clean.

Liked: Stunning site, amazing friendly staff and owner, they couldn't have been more helpful. Great facilities and very well maintained. Plenty to keep the children busy and away from computer games and out in the fresh air playing. Beautiful stream running along the edge. Not to far away for beaches and areas of interest. We will definitely be spending another week camping here in the future. Just WONDERFUL

Disliked: Absolutely nothing to dislike here
