Liked: Was nice and shaded.
Disliked: There’s a curfew on when you can drive cars through the camp site (2300-0700), but absolutely nothing to stop people making noise all night. The bar stays open longer than you can drive through the campsite. We stayed for 3 nights and barely slept due to people making loads of noise all night. Would never go back to this camp site. Also states it’s minutes from the beach and lake. It’s a 20 minute drive from the beach and 15 minuet drive from the lake. No bike hire near by.

From the manager: Hello, We are very sorry to read that you didn't like to stay at the campsite. We have to tell you we are very surprised because a lot of information you give in your comment are wrong. Firstly you were sleeping in the middle of the campsite, very far away from the bar and there are not animations every evening so this is not a problem normaly. Secondly, we watch the campsite by night but infortunately we are not responsible for the lack of respect of people around your pitch. Thirdly, the ocean is at 20 minutes from the campsite by car but the lake is only at 5 minutes (even less) by car (and not 15min). Finaly, we propose bikes to rent into the campsite, but we didn't saw you at the reception, you had never come to ask for bikes or to tell us for the noise. Best regards

Disliked: Les sanitaires ne sont pas propres. Le camping n'est plus accessible en voiture après 23 heures. Nous étions en van, nous sommes arrivés après 23 heures. Nous avons dû dormir à l'extérieur du camping. Si l'horaire est choisi pour le calme du camping, pourquoi la musique était elle alors à fond dans le restaurant jusqu'à minuit passé ? Mimizan plage se trouve à plus de 20 minutes du camping, si on veut y passer la soirée, il est difficile d'être rentré avant 23h, je ne conseille donc pas ce camping pour les personnes en van.

From the manager: Bonjour, Nous sommes navrés que vous n'ayez pas apprécié les horaires de fermeture du camping. Pourtant ces horaires sont les mêmes dans la majorité des campings, pour certains sites dans les environs l'horaire de fermeture est même de 22h30. Nous vous invitons pour la prochaine fois soit à vous renseigner en amont lorsque vous faites ce type de réservation sur les horaires de fermeture, soit de sélectionner des aires de camping-car accessibles à toutes heures mais bien souvent sans électricité ou bien de choisir des camping plus proches de Mimizan plage mais qui coûtent alors bien plus cher que ce que vous avez payé dans notre structure. Nous accueillons beaucoup de van dans notre camping, et les horaires n'ont jamais été un problème. Nous vous avons prévenu dès votre arrivée pour les horaires de fermeture et vous auriez donc eu la possibilité dès ce moment là pour changer de structure (ce que vous n'avez pourtant pas fait). Pour finir et en ce qui concerne les sanitaires, 2 à 3 passages sont réalisés chaque jour, nous faisons au mieux pour qu'ils restent propres mais nous ne sommes souvent pas responsables de l'irrespect des campeurs qui parviennent souvent à tout resalir en moins d'une heure. Disliked: Very noisy campsite No one adhered to pool rules- pool was very boisterous Sunbeds had seen better days, ripped and didn't hold bodyweight of a typical teenager
