Camping Les Deux Étangs is in a protected and enclosed environment of three hectares, in a wildlife haven two kliometres from Lake Noire and five from the sandy beaches of the Landes coast. The site has a wellness centre with sauna, hammam and gym for guests to unwind, along with a library, board games, computers, a secure playground and a barbecue area. An outdoor pool, solaruim and bar-restaurant are open from mid-June to mid-September; the bar-restaurant also has any games such as huffleboard, table football, pool table, pinball, driving games and a Wii. A kids' club runs in July and August for ages four to 12, with indoor games, board games, or outdoor games (football, table tennis, volleyball, treasure hunts, etc.) depending on the weather. The kids and staff also prepare a show to take place every Friday night at the bar. The small grocery shop has all the essentials such as bread, pastries, coffee, sugar, condiments, drinks, ice-cream and toilet paper.

Local attractions

The sandy beaches of the Landes coast such as Penon beach and Barracks beach in Seignosseareare are five kilometres from the campsite. A free shuttle bus runs from the site in high season (July and August). Walk around Lake Noire two kilometres away, a peaceful wildlife haven with plenty to see. The site team can recommend several trails with hiking maps for sale, or you can find more information at the Seignosse tourist office. For fishing, the 240 angling haven of Lake Blanc lake is a five-minute walk away.
