In the heart of rural Normandy, where fields are bordered by hedges, rivers flowing through the valleys, and hills filled with wood, Lilli and Michel have set up the Bonheur Nomade. The campsite offers unusual accommodation options including Moroccan tents or Mongol yurts. Units are equipped for you to cook your own meals. Located on an traditional farm of rural Normandy, the campsite welcomes you on two hectares coloured with flowers and trees. There are still numerous animals on the farm from pony, goats, and sheep to chickens and peacocks. Many quiet spots have been accommodated for you to meditate, read, or simply admire the views. Children have a dedicated play area with free toys for them to enjoy. A Moroccan living area as well as a covered living room is available for all to use. You can sip a drink from the bar and meet other campers. A barbecue is also available. The campsite has been furnished following the principles of sustainable building, using recycled materials and respecting the nature around. Many games and activities are available to you at no extra charge. They include a tennis table (rackets and balls included), a table football, a small football pitch, a pool table, a basket ball net, board games, children bicycles and scooters, twelve fitness devices, and two pétanque areas (balls included). Please note that little English is spoken at the site.

  • The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro).
  • Group bookings of 14 or more adults are not permitted (couples and immediate family members excepted).

You can visit many food and drink production sites and enjoy them in the restaurants of the area. So be sure not to miss the cheese of Isigny, cidres, calvados, biscuits from Asnelles, and sea products (oysters, mussels, scallops, fishes from Port-en-Bessin and Grand-Camp). All around the coast, you can take part in nautical activities. Inland, you can try gliding, climbing, kayaking, and bungee jumping. Visit history at the World War 2 landing beaches only 22 kilometres from the campsite, or at the Mont Saint Michel 90 kilometres away.
