is a nature lover's paradise offering guests an memorable stay in a lush green setting of flora and fauna. The campsite is home to many butterflies, birds, trees, plants and flowers. Our guests are welcome to taste the delicious raspberries and pick the tomatoes and fresh herbs that grow in the vegetable patch. We support local, ethically sourced produce and are always happy to help our guests discover the local delicacies. In July and August, freshly cooked organic vegetables are on sale two evenings a week from our favourite local chef, Audrey, and we welcome her back on Fridays for our traditional crêpe nights where guests can enjoy a typical (and delicious!) French meal. Alternatively, if you prefer to cook yourself, Monday is the day to get your fresh vegetables on site in the summer months from our local fresh-food producer, Morgane. Just three kilometres from the campsite, fresh oysters are also available to purchase from Evelyn. Washing machines and dryers are available on site as well as a fridge and an ice-pack freezer for guests to use. There is also wifi if you want to stay connected. We have booklets to accompany guests on nature walks should they wish to discover the local flora - perfect for those who want to de-connect entirely and rediscover nature!

Local attractions

There is no better way to discover the Morbihan than on foot or by bike. There are numerous coastline walks that offer a great vantage point to see local wildlife and the boats cruising across the Gulf of Morbihan. The cycling routes in our area are being further developed but there are existing routes in place allowing you to roam the Morbihan on two wheels. There are many sites on the campsite's doorstep including the town of Plougoumelen with its charming old church la chapelle de Lestréviau, and the hamlet of Cahire, best known for its charming thatched roofs. Nearby Baden is a popular spot for tourists with an 18-hole golf course and the Port-Blanc which is the starting point for many shuttle boats and excursions to the l'Ile-aux-Moines. Within five and 10 kilometres of the campsite you can visit the town of Le Bono with its old suspension bridge designed by none other than Gustave Eiffel (of Eiffel Tower fame!). Larmor-Baden is a charming seaside resort with a wonderful relaxed atmosphere and numerous activities and sites including the port where you can catch a boat to visit Cairn de Gavrinis home to old spiralling carvings on the walls or the Gavrinis tomb believed to be from the New Stone Age era. It's also possible to walk across to the l'Ile de Berder from the mainland at Lamor-Baden during low tide. For longer day trips you can visit the towns and cities further afield in the region, such as Locmariaquer, La Trinité sur Mer, Carnac, Quiberon and Lorient.
