Camping Padimadour is surrounded by meadows between the villages of Rocamadour and Padirac in the Causses de Quercy Regional Nature Park. It is well placed for visiting the Dordogne Valley, the Dore and Lot rivers, and the towns and villages of the Lot region. The site has a swimming pool, paddling pool, hot tub, free wifi, pétanque court, games room, gym, grocery shop (with bread service in high season) and restaurant/bar. There is a launderette with washing machines and tumble dryer, and washrooms have hot showers and family-friendly facilities. On-site staff run kids' activities and evening entertainment in high season. The Dordogne Valley and Causses de Quercy Regional Nature Park have plenty of outdoor activities including hiking, cycling, fishing, canoeing and horse riding. You can also explore natural caves, sample local wine and visit the area's windmills and castles.

Local attractions

Hiking, cycling, fishing, horse riding and canoeing are all popular activities on or around the Dordogne and the Lot rivers and valleys. The Lot region has some beautiful towns to visit, including Rocamadour (4km), Cahors (30km), Figeac (35km), Saint-Cirq-Lapopie (25km), Autoire (20km) and Loubressac (20km). Natural attractions include the Pech Merle Cave (20km), Lacave Caves (7km), Merveilles Prehistoric Cave (5km) and Padirac Cave (15km). There are also man-made attractions such as the Moulin de Cougnaguet (4km), the Moulin du Saut (8km) and the Château de Castelnau-Bretenoux (30km). The village of Rocamadour produces its own goat's cheese, and you can also sample truffles, foie gras, lamb and Cahors Malbec wine at markets and producers around the region.
