Between Ruoms and Vallon Pont d'Arc, Sun Camping is a small family-friendly site just 100 metres from the Ardèche river. There's a heated swimming pool, paddling pool and playground for guests to use, as well as a snack bar/takeaway and a bar that hosts evening entertainment in high season. The site's useful amenities include washrooms with showers and toilets, a launderette, a washing-up area and wifi. The Ardèche river near the site is great for fishing, and you can also canoe from the shore just 100 metres away. The Gorges d'Ardèche await more intrepid kayakers and canoeists, and the surrounding area is also great for mountain biking, hiking, horse riding and climbing. More gentle pursuits can also be found, however – perhaps visiting some of France's most beautiful villages or taking a tour of one of the region's vineyards.
