--Best places to stay for tucking into popular pies and pastries!--

--Liskeard, Glastonbury, Melbourne and Norwich--

British Pie Week takes place from 2 - 8 March 2015 so to get everyone in the spirit, outdoor accommodation specialist Pitchup.com has recommended the best places to visit based around where you can sample your favourite British pies.

Enjoy a most appetising stay in the homeland of the Cornish pasty at Penbugle Farm in Cornwall. The farm's wigwams offer guests a relaxing, glamping getaway. They are equipped with comfortable mattresses, a few kitchen amenities and an outdoor deck - perfect for a Cornish feast in the great outdoors. Communal bathroom, toilet and kitchen facilities are also provided. For those in search of gourmet and organic food, the farm offers a range of rare-breed meats and fresh eggs. Pitchup.com offers accommodation here from £40 per night for a wigwam.

Enjoy a classic shepherd's pie at Middlewick Farm in Glastonbury. Located just 25 miles from the Wiltshire oven in which this timeless pie was first baked, Middlewick Farm has plenty to offer its visitors. Its E-den camping cabins feature their own luxurious shower cabins, a ready-to-grill barbecue, cosy full-size double beds and access to a communal outdoor pizza oven on site. Guests are also provided with crisp white bedding and fluffy towels. Visitors in search of more delicious treats can also try a local dish at the traditional Somerset restaurants and cafés nearby. Pitchup.com offers accommodation here from just £60 per night.

A holiday at Springwood Fisheries in Melbourne is a tasty adventure into the world of Britain's best pork pies. Located just a 45-minute drive from the place of the pie's origin, Springwood Fisheries’ camping pods offer a good night's rest on futon-style beds (camp beds can also be provided for children at an extra charge) and are equipped with a TV, DVD player, microwave and kettle to make your stay a comfortable one. As for outdoor entertainment – families can enjoy walks about the National Forest, go fishing, enjoy a delicious meal at the site's café and, of course, venture eastward to Melton Mowbray, the home of the famous Ye Olde Pork Pie Shoppe. Camping Pods at Springwood Fisheries cost from £48 per night.

Norfolk fish pies are said to be some of the best around, so venture to the county and stay at Whitlingham Broad Campsite in Norwich. Accommodation here ranges from pitches through to glamping in bell tents, a shepherd’s hut and a yurt. Glamping costs from £75 per night staying in the yurt which features a pot belly stove, kettle, barbecue, hammock and private decking area.  The yurt can sleep up to six people.
