Em va agradar: So quiet and restful, just what we needed. Picked a nice spot with a lovely view and liked it so much we extended our stay, twice.

Em va agradar: Facilities, location - well spaced flat woodland setting, ponies walking through the pitch, friendly staff.
No em va agradar: quite loud traffic noise at around150metres from the road. expected a Sunday morning would be quiet, but traffic ran all night, should have pitched further from road.

Em va agradar: Everything! Love this place, second time visiting and will definitely be back next year. Friendly, helpful staff. Great views over Balmer Lawn. Horses roaming through the camp, it’s a lovely place to be.

Em va agradar: Stunning scenery at Hollands Wood, in the heart of the New Forest. On arrival friendly staff gave us great advice on where to pitch our tent. We had an amazing view over the meadow, horses and cows roaming freely. I went camping with my daughter and grandchildren and our 3 dogs, this was the first time the children had been camping and they loved every minute, disappointed when we had to pack up to leave. The camp site has first class facilities, lovely warm toilets and showers, kept clean and stocked. Area for washing up and a laundry on site too. Close to lovely country pubs which are child and dog friendly and served great food (Snakecatcher). Will we be using this campsite again??? 100% yes 🙌

Em va agradar: Nice location, lovely views, good facilities. Showers were warm and the washing up room was a nice addition. Views of the open field off the campsite were lovely.
No em va agradar: Next to a busy road so was quite a lot of traffic noise.

Em va agradar: The area was superb! Right in the heart of the new forest, walks galore in every direction. Was beautiful waking up in the morning with the sun shining through the trees and the horses roaming free. Lovely kept campsite that is clean and well looked after.
