Electric gravel touring pitch
Liked: A relatively small site but we had a lovely big pitch for our large caravan, with a water supply. Spotlessly clean shower block and pot-wash. Washing machine available if required. Very friendly, helpful owner! Although there isn't a designated dog area, the site is definitely dog friendly and plenty of people had dogs there ( including us and other family members we met up with there). There is a public bridleway just around the corner when laps of the site aren't sufficient! We enjoyed a meal at the onsight pub and, although the service was a little slow on that occasion, the food was good.
Disliked: Some people may dislike the road noise but it certainly didn't bother us in the caravan.

Electric grass tent pitch
Liked: We spent the weekend here for bank holiday with friends on their first camping trip. Pitch was excellent, site is quiet and the facilities you cannot fault so clean and tidy. Nicky is fantastic as park warden a lovely welcome and full of local knowledge. We’d return as a base to visit the local area again, so we’ll be back!

Electric gravel touring pitch
Liked: The campsite was clean and tidy. Extremely friendly host. Lots of information available. Toilets and showers all beautifully clean, like home from home. Very dog friendly. Pub attached to site was welcoming, again dog friendly and the food was good. We especially liked that the site was not too big. We felt that this made our stay more personable.
Disliked: The weather let us down, it really did rain!
