Electric optional hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked: The site was beautiful and as we were there midweek there were only a few other motorhomes. Quite a few lodges occupied with the folks there for the fishing. Facilities were very clean and not to far to walk to. Restaurant very nice, staff lovely and an area where we could sit with our pup.
Disliked: Due to the time of year the restaurant/Bar closed very early. On one occasion we walked into Caistor but from the site it's quite a walk and all up hill. Coming back not so bad. Only one taxi firm available and although they did, after a bit of persuasion, they did not seem very keen on taking dogs.

Liked: Absolutely brilliant site. Spotless facilities. Hot showers without a push button and a gorgeous lakeside pitch. There is also restaurant on site for a drink outside, a quick bite to eat or a full meal. It was our first visit and we loved it. It will become a regular getaway for us. Site staff and bar staff were friendly and helpful too. Free pitch WiFi too, although was a bit weak at times (to be expected in a country park) but for free it was a nice bonus.
Disliked: There wasn't anything on site to dislike but a fully serviced pitch would have made it just that bit more perfect, although it's not a big deal at all as water tap was nearby.

Liked: The toilet and washing facilities were the best I’ve seen. Warm, clean, Dyson dryer, even piped music! The restaurant was good, having a superb lamb shank Easter Sunday lunch. Water, waste recycling etc was close by and well organised and especially loved watching the big fish in the pond at the front of the site. Plenty of parking too. Staff friendly and it’s nice to have the personal touch of someone coming to check all was ok just as we were setting up.
Disliked: The pitches were not massive and close together. We felt and it would be nice to have some foliage screening between pitches for privacy. Also as dog owners, on site walks were rather limited.
