Liked: Brilliant location for hiking. We will certainly be using it as a base again in the future.
Disliked: Not quite enough toilets. There was a big queue in the mornings so I’d imagine when the site is busy at peak times this could be an issue.

Liked: Gorgeous views from the site, nice pub nearby, toilets and shower basic but clean. Owners came round every night and checked people in and also hired out fire pits and sold wood and firelighters which was really nice. Extremely good value for money in a gorgeous location. Really nice laid back atmosphere on site.
Disliked: You have to pay £1 for a hot shower for 5 mins which is a bit steep especially if there's a group of you - remember to bring change!

Liked: Friendly owners. Laid back pick your own pitch. Toilets and showers perfectly functional and were serviced regularly with no issues. Pizza was very nice proper stone baked. 2 decent pubs within walking distance.
Disliked: The ground was very wet and boggy. Vans /cars were getting stuck and within an hour or two the ground was like the somme. Mud over everything. Owners did have the means to tow people out.
