Liked: Conveniently close to the A46 , but obviously you will have some traffic noise. once through security gates you are able to choose you own pitch. Toilet blocks lovely and clean. Owners very friendly and helpful. Within short walking distance of a fantastic farm shop,convenience shop and pub.. all dog friendly. Reasonably priced.

Liked: Very friendly and efficient host who was seen each day around the site. Very clean and spacious pitches with electric and water on each pitch. Walking distance to village with pub and store.
Disliked: Some road noise from the adjacent Adjacent A46 but quickly got used to it quickly forgettable. Some pitches have an incline so could need levelling ramps.

Liked: This is a lovely little secure site. The facilities were spotless and smelled fresh and clean. The owners were informative and helpful. There is a decent pub a good 15-20 walk away and a lovely farm shop with a cafe just up the road. We will definitely stay here again when in the area.;
Disliked: You can hear the road but it didn’t keep us awake. There were a couple of scruffy looking seasonal pitches near the front of the site which were a bit off putting on arrival but that wasn’t an issue just slightly spoils the aesthetic of an otherwise well kept and lovely site.

Liked: Good facilities on site, host gave us a friendly greeting. Nice stop over site
Disliked: A bit noisy due to road, but lots of trees have been planted that will soon help with that, but too noisy to stop you sleeping!

Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked: Such a fantastic hidden gem of a campsite. The campsite is so well looked after and a really stunning setting with each pitch within lines of apple tree orchards. The pitches are fantastic, there's a choice of hard standing or grass pitches and each pitch has it's own picnic table. The facilities are great too, very well looked after and modern. The section to put your recycling and dispose of waste water is very well maintained and really clean and easy to use. There is also wild deer and rabbits around the campsite which our daughter loved. The facilities here are amazing and each pitch has very fast wifi available too. In addition to all the above Deb and Mark who run the campsite are the nicest of people and so hospitable and friendly. I will definitely be coming back to stay at Green Gates again!
Disliked: The only slight improvement would be signage; we struggled to find where the bins and waste water was, it was all covered in the instructions Deb and Mark left but some signs on the site would be good. There are two communal cleaning facilities and toilet blocks in addition to where the bins and waste water which is great!
