Liked: Everywhere was clean and tidy.. small shop on site. Toilets clean, not too many people on site and peaceful, allowed fires and bbqs.overall lovely pitch and at a great price

Liked: Nice clean site. Toilets are very clean and cute little honest Shop selling fire sticks and sweets et cetera was a nice touch.

Disliked: Very noisy one of the pubs to around midnight. Other campers up and quite noisy till around 2 am. This isn’t the honours fault though, with Tyson Fury, I think ha ha.

Liked: Helpful friendly response on WhatsApp. Easy to park, clean facilities and handy little shop.

Disliked: Might get a bit muddy as there was some standing water but it didn't affect our stay.

Liked: A lovely field with elevated touring pitches offering views overlooking the surrounding countryside. Toilets were very nice and spotless. The honesty shop way great. It was quiet. We had the site to ourselves but, of course, that won't be the norm.

Disliked: Umm nothing really. The turning for the site was a bit abrupt. There are several permanently sited touring caravans there but not an issue.

Liked: It was peaceful, we were only there for 2 nights but really enjoyed our stay. Lack of shower facilities could have been a problem but as the campsite is water metered it is understandable. Toilet block has been improved massively since last year .

Kids are likely to love this one – Farmer Parrs Animal World (20 minutes’ drive) runs pony, train and tractor rides, as well as being home to jumping pillows and an animal farm with rare breeds. Blackpool Zoo (25 minutes) is another attraction for those wanting to meet some new creatures. The zoo has giraffes, orangutans and elephants among its residents. Admission

At least one of the party members must be aged 21 or over.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Changes to your holiday

Changes cannot be made once you have booked.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.
The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro).

General

Bookings must not be for more than 14 consecutive nights.
Generators are not permitted.
In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
Public areas are non-smoking.
Quiet hours must be respected between 11:30 p.m. and 7 a.m..
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and boots must be closed quietly.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
