Liked: Blonde lady on reception really friendly and helpful, kids enjoyed swimming pool
Disliked: Site not well maintained, bathrooms dirty, covered in toilet paper, we were put in a seasonal pitch because apparently pitch up had overbooked them. This was a field just off site, with a derelict van in, was overgrown and we had to trek down a hill into the main site to the nearest toilet block, which during the night, the path wasn't lit, and was slippy. I have issues with my knee and being this far away from any facilities wasn't ideal . Also no onsite shop as advertised, there is also no cafe so have to go off site for everything.

Liked: The view (can’t be seen from caravan) Local village with shops 5 minute drive away.
Disliked: Small cramped pitches, some caravans were too long for pitches (not the owners fault, just very small pitches) very dark at night, pot holes on the small narrow road to touring pitches, bins over flowing, toilet block was run down, dirty and could do with updating (although the actual shower had good pressure and one set temperature) didn’t see any workers apart from in the bar/reception, not a lot to do near by, loud music from other caravans till late (after 10) with no security/staff to address situations like this so felt like a free for all party. Quite disappointing for the price paid for this site, can get a lot better for your money.

Liked: Second time at beacon fell and won't be our last we love it! Kids have a ball here. So much is included for free - indoor heated swimming, free pool table, free soft play, outdoor park. Staff work really hard and long hours and are always happy to help! We will definately be returning. Doesn't look like they do have the shop anymore but there is a cafe comming soon... and most take out places will deliver... they just meet u at the barrier... pub 5 mins away dog inn does lovely food and a chippy not to far away either.
Disliked: Not so much a dislike but definately need to hire more staff. Some members are responsible for 4 jobs all in one day which isn't fair.

Liked: Lovely pool area - children’s party so not allowed to swim - understanding this.
Disliked: The grounds need sorting near touring site - outdoor play area disappointing- one swing and a small climbing frame- the indoor play area was dirty and litter left about. Tables in one bar area needed cleaning - Needs some love in areas - showers/toilets etc clean. Arrived Police on site - wasn’t allowed in reception area. Then just passed envelope and stated take a pitch between these numbers by another staff member nearby. Not the best an never been there, also never would go back or recommend due to my experience- just something missing not sure what - refreshing up the areas and amenities for kids on play area - ball pool for little ones etc but also some keep areas clean that weren’t..
