Liked: From the moment I pulled up to the moment I left thoroughly enjoyed my two night stay , I travelled as a solo female and was made welcome by the staff and also by fellow campers , such a lovely Camp site from top to bottom , so much variety and so many adventures to be had here , the site defiantly has the wild camping feel to it and it’s absolutely wonderful , everything is well priced and great value for money especially the night premiums and to be able to have a camp fire is an added bonus , toilets and showers were spot on , always clean . you guys have done a wonderful job at making this camp site a welcoming an; an enjoyable place for all. Thank you very much , I will be returning in the near future and this time I will be bringing my hammock .

Liked: We loved the campsite, felt very secure and safe. Playground was great for the kids and lots of areas to explore. The guys working were always friendly and happy to help. Toilets were kept clean all the time. We had a range of kids ages from 18 months to 15 years, all of them had a great time and very keen to go back.
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: I was well suprice, I thought is wild camping no facilities. There where more then expected showers, toilets, shop and activities for kids, even I did exactly aspects kids in there as it is wild camping. But so far clean nature.
Disliked: I would prefer adults only.

From the manager: Thank you for your comments. Positive reviews mean the world to us so it nice to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us and surprised by our lovely facilities and activities. We are slightly confused by the 2/10 for child friendliness. Reading your comments, It sounds like you marked us down because we are too child friendly for you and you don’t like children? You wanted an adult only campsite? Our campsite is definitely child friendly and with a name like Adventure Pirate we’re surprised you didn’t realise this.
