Non-electric grass tent pitch (two person)
Liked: Camped down near the lake. Plenty of space and very quiet. Nice location not far from Ballycastle town. Beautiful views. We liked that there was an onsite bar with live music. We didn’t visit it but nice to have the option and we heard good things from those who did
Disliked: Additional £1 to use shower for 6 minutes. Motorbike noise from nearby road starts early. It was the NW200 weekend so possibly busier than usual. Takeaway coffee was a bit steep at £2.50, made behind the bar Cash only. No fire pits allowed

Liked: The view from the top campsite it is amazing.
Disliked: Showers, toilets and the facilities generally. They are adequate but the shores flood, the whole shower block is very dated. There 2 showers for men and 2 for women for the whole campsite.

Electric grass touring pitch
Liked: Beautiful location and friendly team running this site.
Disliked: It's a shame you have to pay £1 for a shower, especially as the block is not particularly clean. Facilities are quite basic.

From the manager: Thank you for the review I'm glad you liked the location and our friendly staff, there is a team decadated to looking after the shower blocks and I'm sure they were clean I will be keeping an eye on that issue, but I'm almost sure it was the fact you had to pay the £1 that caused the negativity, I'm afraid that will not be changing as the reason that charge is there is to ensure that all visitors to Glenmore get the chance to use the showers as before that was introduced some selfishly people spent up to two hours in the showers, i could just put a couple of pounds on to the price if it was a money issue, and there would be no complaints. Best Regards Glenmore management.

Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked: The location was great - a beautiful area and friendly staff.
Disliked: This is quite an expensive night rate, considering the 3 other sites we stayed at during our 5-day trip. Adding the need for a pound for the showers - though normal at other sites - seemed a bit much on top of the night price. Also, there was a broken windscreen in the cassette disposal area which hadn't been dealt with - this is a safety hazard and, again, not expected at the rate per night we were paying.
