  • Safe and spacious site with well-maintained greenery all around
  • Just over a five-minute drive to Amroth beach and 15 to Saundersfoot
  • Pick-your-own produce shop and laser quest under a five-minute walk
If you’re seeking a simple and spacious spot for the family in south west Wales book in for a stay at Woodview - Golwg Y Coed, in a nifty position in Pembrokeshire to explore kid-friendly places like Oakwood Theme Park and Folly Farm Aventure Park and Zoo (both about a 15-minute drive). The site is located directly off a main trunk road, with a wide entrance that makes getting here particularly easy if you're in a large vehicle or towing a caravan. When not out and about at attractions with the kids, sun yourself on the grass while they run amok in the spacious grounds (or tire them out with a game at the laser combat centre just next door if they’re being extra energetic…). It's all nicely secure for smaller guests too, as the site gates are always closed to help offspring stay safe if they manage to escape from your watchful eye. The park is dog friendly as well; please just keep canine companions on leads while around the grounds. Venturing off site for beaches? Make your way to Amroth or Wiseman’s Bridge (which also has a pub with a beer garden looking out onto the sea), both under 10 minutes’ drive away. Access to the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, a 186-mile trail skirting the seaside, is easy from either beach or you can drop by a riding school 10 minutes' drive away to organise a trot down on the sand. Back on site, you have access to a modern toilet block with free showers; for food to cook up on the camping stove, a pick-your-own farm produce shop is less than a five-minute walk away.

Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked: Nothing

Disliked: I feel sad for giving this site such a low rating but im struggling to find a single positive. The price was scandalous for what was on offer, at least £30 to much! The washing area was disgusting with stale food caked everywhere and both sinks blocked with pasta. Didn't see a single member of staff for the duration of our stay so had to guess where our pitch was. On our email, it said we had to be there by 6, i have no idea why? No toilet roll in any toilet, showers were filthy and the whole place just felt sad. Love how they sell the Laser game across the road as an attraction. No way you're getting there on foot. Again, the biggest bugbear was the price. We have stayed in places with amazing facilities near to this place, for a fraction of the price. We wont be back.

Camping pod

Liked: 5 stars for the pod we booked! Lovely Welsh Hospitality, friendly and helpful owner and manager. Gave us recommendations of things to see/ do. Ideal for camper vans caravans. Luxury pod, very clean, every essential item needed was in there. Small double with bedside tables, linen and duvet/ pillows, usb points/ sockets, fridge, kettle, toaster, tea/coffee, table + chairs. Porch lighting for night time, 5stars! Microwave in opposite communal pod with clean washing up area, toilets and luxury hot showers. Small quiet basic site. Definitely would return for the pods. Excellent location close to the best beaches in Saundersfoot and Tenby which are shallow clean clear waters with perfect fine golden sands. Ideal for little ones and paddle boarding. Blue flag beaches, some amazing scenery and historic pubs.

Disliked: Nothing really to dislike, I did see the odd cowpat on 2 pitches but didn’t affect our stay nor bother me as not my pitch. the pod communal bathrooms could do with a hanging hook on the back of the door for your bag / towel. 100% will be returning.

Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked: Amazing place. Only approx 10 hardstanding pitches so not too noisy. Perfectly clean toilet and showers. Definitely will be returning

Disliked: Not knowing where to pitch on arrival as no one available. But after chatting to a fellow camper seems you can pitch on any available space.

Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked: Owners were kind and friendly. Site was clean and quiet. The facilities were tidy and everything worked well, with little extras to make the stay more comfortable, such a microwave, soap and washing up liquid.

Disliked: There was nothing I didn’t like.

Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked: The site was a great location for exploring saundersfoot, tenby, pendine sands and next to Amroth. Spacious pitches with superb toilet and shower facilities.. plenty of hot water. We met the owner who was informative of the local area and pointed us to the best pubs for food etc! Lovely 6 nights and we were very sad to leave! We will stay again and will definitely carry on exploring tenby and the surrounding area!

Disliked: Very slight road noise as the site is off the main A road.. but I’ve had to really think of a dislike .. we did bring our bikes but due to being close to the busy road so we didn’t cycle, although my son did around the site which was secure and safe! We drove to all the towns and trips we enjoyed anyway!

Liked: Really well laid out site. We arrived later than planned but it was easy to speak to the site owner and find out where to pitch up. Toilets and showers were great, they let us use the pod facilities as they had no one staying. Friendly and informative staff.

Non-electric grass touring pitch

Liked: Great little Campsite near saundersfoot and Tenby. We ended up as a group and were able to be grouped together as one. Relaxed professional set up. Easy access to main road to allow for day trips to the local area. Owners were attentive and friendly. Washing facilities and shower blocks were well looked after and clean. Definitely be returning in the future. The dogs loved it too.

Local attractions

Once the kids have zoomed through the air on the Megafobia ride at Oakwood Theme Park or petted the animals at Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo, there are still plenty more attractions for them to tick off their bucket list – including the paintball, fishing, archery and golf at Heatherton World of Activities (15 minutes away by car). About a quarter of an hour away in the opposite direction, Morfa Bay Adventure has a mud assault course to slip and slide along, and trips to the seaside town of Tenby’s wide sandy beaches (20 minutes) are always winners with small humans – especially if you use the place as a jumping-off point for seal safari boat trips from the harbour. Closer by at 15 minutes’ drive from the site, Saundersfoot also has a working pier as well as a posh food truck (summer season) for mums and dads to indulge in a lobster takeaway as a treat for always putting the kids first...
