Laurel Tree Fields

Μου άρεσε: Our stay at Laurel Tree Fields was very enjoyable! The campsite is clean and tidy, the facilities are much better than what was advertised. The owners were incredibly welcoming and let us feed the alpacas. We were provided with a fire pit and all the wood at a small extra cost. From the camping area you can see the alpacas and horses. There aren’t showers available but we were staying for one night so wouldn’t have used them anyway.

Μου άρεσε: Everything! Great kitchen and toilet block. Loved that we could have a bbq or fire with bonus that they have fire pits you can borrow and sell logs too! Icing on the cake was the fields of aminals nearby (not a disturbance) and getting a chance to feed the alpacas! Run by a very lovely couple. Highly recommended and we hope to return.

Δεν μου άρεσε: For FYI, it's possible to hear the A road from the site. Obviously can't be helped, but bring ear plugs if you're likely to be sensitive to that.

Μου άρεσε: Site was immaculate, hosts were amazing, facilities excellent, animals made the stay more interesting and they were kept really well. I couldn't recommend Denise and Chris site anymore, we will definitely visit again.

Δεν μου άρεσε: No shower, but having a clean bathroom was a huge bonus. It would be great to have an outdoor solar one 😌. You can hear the traffic from the main road but it isn't overwhelming and the setting is so nice you don't really think about it.

Μου άρεσε: Me and my partner absolutely loved our stay here!! We couldn’t fault it. We got to feed the Alpacas, see the goats, sheep and chickens! The site was super clean, with the toilet and washing up section being not too far walk. We had fresh eggs on site to buy, and bought some fire wood which lasted us two days! The owners were so so lovely, making us feel so welcome the second we arrived to when we left. We will be coming back!!

Μου άρεσε: A lovely campsite, the owners are lovely and very welcoming, they made sure we had all we needed. My daughter loved feeding the animals and getting to walk them between pens. We used the fire pit at night which was lovely. The facilities are very basic but we knew that at the time of booking and wanted a night of very basic camping so was ideal for us, they were very clean, well stocked and kept on top of. We had a lovely time just chilling out on this campsite, with lots of space for us to do our own activities. We will defo be visiting again soon.

Δεν μου άρεσε: The road was a little noisy at night but I'm a very light sleeper so probably wouldn't bother someone else. No hot water for washing.

As we are near to the A47, it’s perfect for exploring but sadly some days it can be noisier than others depending on the wind direction. We hope you visit again soon. Denise x

Μου άρεσε: Lovely, clean site. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The Alpacas, goats and sheep add to the welcome.

Δεν μου άρεσε: No shower or proper flushing toilet. Toilet is a portaporty which is OK for a family but not for shared facilities.

Μου άρεσε: Site was clean and easy to access, management was lovely and gave us everything we needed. Including firepit, bbq etc
