Looking for a tranquil spot to pitch up to? Our attractive 36 acre caravan and camping site near Scarborough offers serene surroundings and first-class facilities. Established in 1974, we accommodate caravans, motorhomes, pods and camping. Want hard-standing? Prefer grass? We offer both. Choose from 100 touring pitches, two separate camping fields or hire one of our camping or glamping pods. Enjoy a 5 Pennant Platinum Park 2023 marked a milestone in St Helens History when we were recently awarded platinum status by the AA, and won Campsite of the year North East! AA Platinum Pennants recognise the very best campsites and caravan parks that consistently offer outstanding camping experiences. Awarded by a team of inspectors, this supreme accolade is awarded to the very best camping parks with a Quality Score of 95% and above with a 5 Pennant rating. Don’t just take our word for it… The AA themselves say Parks with 5 Platinum Pennants are truly the crème de la crème…so plan a visit to see for yourself. Space to breathe Families love our children’s play area and family-friendly bathrooms. Dog owners lap up our dog-washing station and dog walk.   • The campground/park does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.
  • The campground/park does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dog Act (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro).
  • No hen/stag parties permitted via Pitchup.com.
  • Dogs are not allowed if you are staying in the accommodation units.
  • Bookings must not be for more than 13 consecutive nights.
  • Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.
  • Continental touring caravans (caravans built with the passenger door on the right-hand side) are not permitted.
  • At least one of the party members must be aged 18 or over.
  • A cable measuring at least 20 metres is needed for the electric hook-ups.
  • Guests must bring their own duvets, pillows, sheets and towels when staying in rental accommodation. You will not be allowed to stay if you do not bring these items.
  • Minimum spacing of 3 metres between pitches.
  • This is a quiet campground/park: no music is allowed.
  • Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch with them as parts of the campground/park are unlit.
  • No naked flames are allowed inside the hired accommodation units.
  • No gas barbecues allowed.
  • No electric barbecues allowed.
  • If reception is closed on arrival: please contact the number provided on your booking confirmation.
  • Fires, barbecues and/or firepits will not be permitted in dry, windy and/or hot weather conditions.
  • Bookings for All must not be for more than 14 consecutive nights.

North Yorkshire Water Park on the doorstep The North Yorkshire Water Park is just a short walk from our caravan and camping site. It will delight the whole family, from toddlers to thrill seekers. Enjoy the zip line, climbing wall and wakeboarding. Plus kayaks, pedalos, mini electric boats, paddle boards, sailing, windsurfing, Saturday Park Runs and open water swimming. Or chill out at their lakeside café. Its AquaPark is the real star of the show though, as it’s packed with inflatable obstacle courses. There are climbing walls, trampolines, balance bars, rockers, rollers and blast bags. Jump, climb and swim to your heart’s content! Wykeham Fishing Lakes Love to fish? Wykeham Fishing Lakes lie next to the North Yorkshire Water Park. With four fresh water lakes, it’s an ideal spot for trout fishing and a variety of course fishing. The lakes are home to the largest pike in England. Scarborough seaside resort Scarborough is less than 7 miles away from us. This famous coastal resort offers great places to eat and drink, an open air theatre and two award-winning sandy beaches. Its breath-taking coastline is perfect for walking and cycling. Plus there are plenty of fun holiday activities to entertain all the family. Charming Yorkshire countryside Our local area offers beautiful landscapes, vast woodlands and wildlife-packed habitats, making it a spectacular place to visit. Our caravanning and camping site lies on the edge of the famous North York Moors National Park, alongside the rich vale of Pickering with the rolling Yorkshire Wolds in the distance.
