Bell tent
Liked: Quiet site, apart from the sheep in the next field 😆. Plenty of space to kick a ball round and play games. Nice views from the top of the field, but not so much from the bell tent itself. Provided a nice bottle of prosecco and welsh cakes for arrival which was a nice touch. There is a small park suitable for young children 5 mins walk away, our two (5 & 7 years old) enjoyed it, and 5 mins further on is a lovely pub (the lamb and flag) we had a few drinks but didn't order food.
Disliked: The toilets, while perfectly clean, did have a pungent smell to them, probably a sewerage issue, hopefully it can be resolved. Also no hot water at the dish washing station. This made it very difficult to get greasy cooking utensils clean.

From the manager: hi guys, thanks for staying with us, and im glad you enjoyed the peace (minus some rowdy sheep :)) and your children too. Also lovely to hear you used the local park, amenities and pub. With regards to toilets and cold water, This is down to us trying to be as eco friendly as possible so cold water and the washing up liquid provided is eco friendly and supposed to work well with cold water (apologies if this was not the case and we will look into it). The toilets is an interesting one, as these are an amazing bit of kit, designed to be again as eco friendly as possible, there is no sewerage with them. However this is something that can be resolved and will be immediately :)
Would 100% recommend. Great for families!

From the manager: aawwwww! thank you so much for this review, it means so much to hear. We are new to this game and we have tried so hard to get everything right for people and create a specific type of campsite, and this makes us feel like we are doing just that and creating a special place for people to come stay and enjoy. Thnkyou!
We look forward to coming again!

Bell tent
Liked: The bell tent was lovely, comfortable and roomy. There's a separate kitchen hut / shelter alongside, equipped with basics such as an oven with 2 gas rings, a good water container, and all the crockery and cutlery you might need. Logs etc. were provided for the fire bowl. The owners are enthusiastically still developing this new camping field, and are very friendly and helpful.
