Liked: Really nice friendly location with a good restaurant on site. The location is a working cider farm with a great little shop. On site toilets and showers were clean but a little way from camping. However, they are currently building a new block and opening up a potentially better location for camping.

Liked: Lovely site, easy to find, pick your own pitch. Toilet & shower block close, clean & well equipped. Daughter loved the orphaned cows & other animals. Onsite restaurant was excellent. Very tasty fresh meal in the evening & even though really busy with a large party the service was excellent. Highly recommend lotus biscoff slice, the Swiss breakfast & the rhubarb cider. All staff very friendly
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: It was basic but great. The farm animals were beautiful. The site is small and compact with few level spaces on the field however its a park up wherever type space which is good for campervans. The restaurant on site was so delicious! The cider selection was vast and well priced.
Disliked: Only nit-picking, the toilet facilities are away from the campsite which made nightime runs entertaining!

Liked: Facilities are basic but clean. it’s quiet and just what we needed for a weekend to unwind from the daily grind. The food at the onsite restaurant is top quality as is the cider, especially the Elderflower and Rubarb.

Liked: Lovely camping field on a site located on a working farm, away from the main road so very quiet. There are toilets and showers on site with a brand new shower block (almost finished when we stayed) surrounded by orchards and livestock, with walks through the fields and rivers nearby. A restaurant is also on site with a shop selling drinks, snacks, cakes, and Gwatkin own home brewed small batch cider with the option to taste a small sample of any you like before you buy. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful, nothing is too much bother and they are very accommodating. There is a small collection of wild fowl and orphaned cows and sheep on the site and the site owners are quite happy to talk about their animals and the farm. Dogs are welcome and if they have good recall probably fine to be loose although if they are a bit over friendly best kept on a lead.
Disliked: Not really a “dislike” but it’s worth remembering that this is a working farm. For our stay over a weekend it was mostly quiet, but when looking after animals, remember the working day starts at dawn!

Liked: Fantastic restaurant and farm shop. Owner was extremely relaxed given we had made some alterations to the booking etc. Toilets/showers all very clean. Good walks from site.
Disliked: Nothing much - be aware it is a working farm so some noisy animals! But actually very authentic for that.
